Audi

by mr_hands on 05/21/2011

I was treated fairly with a no hassle price. They were always pleasant and helpful. I had my TDI serviced there, never had a problem.

Loan Lies

by terrel on 12/13/2010

First off I got a loan from penfed for 2.99%. As soon as I let my sales person know I got the loan he immediately started doubting me, like I was making it up. He then talked to the finance manager and they decided they wanted to run my credit to see for themselves. A few days go by and I don’t hear anything from them until I call myself. I tell the finance manager who I am and ask him what my APR will be and he immediately tells me he can’t discuss that over the phone (Really? Then why have both of the banks I applied for loan with not said that to me yet???). He follows that up with, “What did you say you were already getting for APR?”. I should have told him exactly what he told me about not being able to discuss that over the phone. Instead I told him 2.99% he then tells me that they can beat it with 2.9%. I knew he was just fishing for my APR before he told me and I was cool with that because I was just going to stick with the 2.99% anyway. Because who really wants to give more money to a dealership that is going to be like that? So I told them the next day, I’m sticking with my previous loan. They went into “lie mode” telling me they can’t accept my bank or any other banks check because it’s not the right kind of check. And the bank might rip them off. After much debating and even having the dealer call the bank… or at least they said they did. I end up realizing I have two options; 1) Take their loan. 2) Stick with my original loan but have the bank put the cash in to my account so I could write the dealership a personal check. (Which by the way, I wrote a personal check for down payment and they took it no questions. But the banks check was what they were worried about???) I ended up taking their loan because my bank said it could take up to two weeks to get the loan turned into cash in my account and I had already been waiting a little more than 3 months for the car to get here. Once I got to the dealer to sign the papers I was so excited to get the car that I didn’t even notice large loan fee they added to the price. Which is really what pushed me over the edge with them. It was there way of saying, “Hey thanks for buying the car and paying interest but your credit score was too good so we’re going to charge you for taking a loan with us.” I know the majority of it is my fault for getting caught up in the moment. But they lost future business with me. My car will be going to a different dealer for service.

ONLY INTERESTED IN EXPENSIVE FOREIGN CAR SALES

by rochestermn123 on 10/29/2007

My experience with this dealership owned by LUTHER from the cities has been horrid. They are only interested in selling the expensive cars, the Audi's and the BMW's of the world. Although they have dealership of other cars as well, they don't really seem to care about those customers or even remotely try to work with the customers to give them better Invoice prices as compared to the MSRP's. I had to go 90 miles to the cities to buy a "Non BMW/ Non Audi car" and was absolutely disgusted with their Sales team.
