Surprisingly, a good experience

Bruce Bowman is the salesperson from whom I purchased my new Subaru Crosstrek. The entire experience was professional, casual and without pressure. Bruce knows the product line in great detail; capabilities of trim levels & options, vehicle specifications & technical details. He offered a test drive which gave me a sense of the vehicle's real world driving characteristics at various speeds & on various road surfaces. As he knows how to use the database, he found a vehicle, enroute to the dealership, which was closest to the trim level & options I wanted. (I was in a slight bind; needed my new vehicle soon, so I couldn't quite get exactly what I desired in the time-frame I had.) Upon delivery, the Crosstrek was in perfect condition. Bruce explained some function, asked & answered any questions. Though he had family obligations, he took the time to complete vehicle delivery in a courteous & professional fashion. With previous experiences from dealers that were not Morrie's, I initially braced for the "usual" car dealer experience. Buying from Morrie's Brooklyn Park Subaru gave me an unusual experience; I had an exceptionally good experience. I will easily recommend Bruce & Morrie's Subaru.

Great Experience

I bought a car from Morries and my sales lady was Jayne and she was perfect, very nice and knowledgeable. I had a great overall experience at morries and with Jayne which was so important since it was the first time I have ever bought a brand new car.

I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from them

I recently purchased a 2016 Crosstrek from Morrie's Brooklyn Park. I did not feel like I could trust anything they said during the whole car buying process. They gave me a price quote and told me it would be 0% interest, so I put down the $500 payment. They also told me they give free oil changes for the first few months. The day I go to purchase the car they told me a different price than what they told me before. I had to argue with them to get the price they originally told me when I made the $500 payment. They then told me I also could not get the 0% interest financing. They said sorry they made a mistake and told me the wrong interest amount originally. I also found out it is not free oil changes, you only get a $25 coupon and the told oil change price is about $80. I purchased a STI spoiler to have them install on the vehicle. When I went to pick it up they had given me the cheaper non STI spoiler and also put a dent in the roof of the Crosstrek while installing it. They didn't tell me any of this. I had to go back in and show them the wrong spoiler and dent. They had to go get a manager to review. They ended up fixing it but made me feel like they are doing a favor to me for getting the correct spoiler I had already purchased and then fixing the dent that they caused.

This is a long overdue rave review for Jennifer Kay and Morrie's. I had a fantastic first experience buying a new car. I wanted something very specific, and Jen went completely above and beyond to track it down for me (in fact she found my car when it was still on a boat to Portland WA and snagged it for me). She was personable, easy-going, and very honest and practical. I also got a great deal. Highly recommend!

Pleasantly Surprised!

My wife and I went car shopping this past weekend with full intentions of purchasing a vehicle from another dealer. My wife convinced me to make one more stop prior to signing the paperwork at the other dealership so we could feel like we did our due diligence in researching possible options. Our visit started by being warmly greeted by Matt Hardt, an Assistant Sales Manager at Morries Brooklyn Park Subaru. I told Matt what I was looking for, a Subaru Legacy, still with the thought that this stop was more of a formality and intending to make it quick so I could get to the other dealership. Matt produced a number of possible options in various packages for my wife and me to test drive. I was thoroughly impressed with the Subaru Legacy. After our test drive we told Matt where our payment needed to be. The employees at Morrie's Brooklyn Park Subaru went through great lengths to ensure our needs we met and the price was within our budget. It turns out I didn't have the desire to go to the other dealership anymore. We finished our day working with Michael Peterson in the Finance Dept. He made sure to explain the entire financing process and didn't try to push any other additional fees on us, which I very much appreciated. Overall our experience was what I was looking for in a dealership and it's employees. Courteous, caring, honest, respectful, and informative. I will recommend this dealership to everyone that I know looking to buy a new or used vehicle.

My experience at Morrie's Brooklyn Park Subaru and low pressure. I came in looking to service my old Impreza and ended up trading it in for a brand new 2015 Impreza. I felt completly comfortable with the Decision, and my sales person Derek James listened to all my wants and needs for a new car. Tina Ingalls and Mike Peterson made the finance part as not intimidating as possible. They made me realize i have financing options despite not so great credit. My daughter & I stopped in and wanted a specific Subaru, with a specific colors and specific options. Morrie's searched and searched & finally found EXACTLY what we wanted (& for a fabulous price!). A five stars all the way;)!!!!!! Our Sales Consultant was: Dina Lantzer. She could not have been better!

We recently bought a brand new 2015 Subaru Impreza from Morrie's Brooklyn Park Nissan and Subaru. We loved our experience! We're first time new car buyers and they made it so easy. Marsai, our sales lady, was so helpful and willing to show us anything we wanted to see. Our loan processing lasted until 10:15pm (they close at 9), which by thenmost everyone who worked there had already gone home (including the detailing team). Marsai took the time to vacuum our new car herself and drive it through the wash because she wanted us to be happy and excited about our brand new car. Afterwards, she explained that if we weren't happy with her cleaning job, we could always bring it back to have the real crew touch it up. She made sure we were never rushed even though we stayed late, and that we truly appreciated. Our first time buying a car was easy and educational as their entire team was so helpful. Not to mention, their loan officers were able to beat out what our credit union had offered us for an interest rate! Overall we are extremely satisfied and thankful to everyone who works there. Thank you! We love our new car!

Wonderful treatment and Work hard on financing

I am writing this review cause Brooklyn Park Subaru personal were really great with working my situation of getting me into a new car also my 5th subaru. Kim and Jamie the finance people worked every odd and end to get me into my new car. I was just blown away. Derek and Marsai were the best sales team to make me feel comfortable while everything was going on. They relayed every piece of info they got from Kim and Jamie. During the whole week of going back and worth with the bank. Morries in general have been wonderful but these people were outstanding. They will always have my business.

The best car-buying experience I've ever had!

I loved my 2003 Forester and felt sick when I was rear-ended on I-94 and it was totaled. I wasn't happy about needing to replace it but I finally decided I would buy a low-mileage, used 2014 Subaru Forester. I went to Morrie's to test drive one and was very disappointed in the experience I had. I ended up emailing Dave Peterson since he and I had emailed back-and-forth about new cars. He responded that he would talk to Tina, the new car sales manager to see what they could do to make it right. Tina immediately called me to say she wanted to do whatever she could to earn my business. She offered me a great deal on a new 2015 Forester that made it worthwhile for me to explore this option further. I told her I would test-drive one but that it would take me a couple of days to get there since my family was sharing one vehicle since mine had been totaled. She offered me the use of a loaner for several days and within an hour Dave showed up at my house with one. The next day I drove the new Forester that had exactly the options I wanted and decided this would be my next vehicle. Dave and Tina were both incredibly helpful and explained exactly how they arrived at their lowest price. I had been to 2 other Subaru dealerships in the Twin Cities and had done extensive research online so I knew exactly what deals I could get from others. Honestly, I could have bought the car for about $150 lower from Walser but when I compared the warranty, Buy Happy program and service fees for both dealerships I knew I would come out ahead by buying from Morrie's. I also loved working with Dave and Tina. The next day I returned with my spouse and daughter and they were also warmly welcomed and treated with respect and kindness - not always the case for a lesbian and mixed race couple! The entire experience was wonderful! When we get ready to buy our next vehicle there is no question who we'll buy from.

Awesome Customer Service

I'm not you're typical review writer, however, I felt compelled to do so after my recent interaction with Jennifer Kay in sales, and David Carson, along with Dan Hunt, in the Service department. I recently purchased a new Forester XT and it was having some ignition issues. The team at Morrie's worked hard to make the needed upgrade to my newly purchased car as painless as possible. With what was thought to only need an hour of my time for the update, ended up requiring a lot more time which my schedule didn't allow for. Telling me that they wanted to make me have a "Buy Happy" experience, Jen quickly set up a loaner car and offered to bring my car to me at after the work had been completed stating, "That is the least we can do!" Customer service like this, is the reason that I have made a point to not only mention Morrie's to friends and family, but also plan on coming back for my regular maintenance:) Lovin' my Forester, Thanks!

We bought new smart phones yesterday and couldn't pair them with the cars bluetooth.Jennifer asked us to stop by and she cheerfully solved our problem and taught us about several other features of the car.Jen defines excellent service long after the sale!

Buy Happy...We sure did!!

A month ago we sold our 2005 Subaru Outback on Craigslist (within 3 days) and were without another vehicle. Since we hadn't been in the market for 9 years, we really weren't sure what we wanted to replace our car with. We knew we loved Subaru, but we were open to exploring new options. We test drove nearly 20 different cars in a 3-day window: the Chevy Equinox, the Chevy Traverse, the Honda CR-V, Volkswagen Sportwagon, Volkswagen Tiguan, Mercedes GLK350, BMW X3, and more...we finally ended back at the Subaru dealer where we'd serviced our Outback for 8 years - Morries Brooklyn Park. We'd had such great experiences with the service team, especially Loren V., so we knew we'd be in good hands with the sales team. We were not disappointed! We arrived at 430p on a Saturday. We'd had some rather unpleasant experiences with some of the other dealerships and we were exhausted from researching and driving cars. After explaining to Scott T., sales mgr, that were just weren't sure what we wanted, but were curious about the Forester, Scott unhesitatingly pulled a car around for us to drive. We knew it was near closing time and yet he allowed us the time we needed to consider the car. We decided on the car we wanted, but then were told we'd have to order it. Having been longtime customers of Morries, Scott went above and beyond for us and put us in a loaner until our car came in. We fell in love with the loaner - which was the same car - and we knew we'd made the right decision. When we went in to the dealer to pick-up our car and EVERYONE was awesome. Ryan M. (accessories/service manager) shared with us where we could find a great Kayak and helped us with the extras we wanted for our car, Sales Manager Tina I. made her way over to introduce herself and thanked us for being customers, the Finance Manager, Kim, was terrific to work with - she answered all our questions in a clear and concise way (and thanked us for being well-prepared). There was not one person that we didn't have a great experience with in this entire process. We would not hesitate to send our friends and family to Morries BP...and we are continually amazed at their level of customer service, satisfaction, and care...long past the sale of a vehicle. They make it easy and enjoyable to be loyal customers! We LOVE our new Subaru Forester Limited!!! LOVE IT!!!

I personally did not purchase a vehicle from Morrie's in Brooklyn Park. But, my husband and I were helping my Mom purchase a Subaru Forester. We were blessed to work with the best sales consultant ever...Jennifer K.! Jennifer has the best personality ever and is very knowledgeable. Since my Mom is hard of hearing and just recently lost her husband, Jennifer was the perfect person to help us. She spoke so well...enunciating her words and speaking so you could hear and understand each and every word. In addition, I can't express enough how knowledgeable she is. She was also a compassionate person. My Mom knew right away what she wanted. Jennifer listens very well and knew what my Mom wanted. And, it just so happened that particular vehicle was in the parking lot, waiting for her to purchase it. Jennifer introduced the vehicle to my Mom and my Mom purchased the 2015 Subaru Forester. After the purchase, Jennifer gave my Mom thorough one-on-one guidance on how to operate the vehicle. She even offered her assistance after my Mom purchased the vehicle. I wasn't looking forward to helping my Mom purchase a vehicle. So, I asked my husband for help too. But, if I had known we were going to be working with Jennifer, I would not have been concerned about my Mom and me going alone and purchasing the vehicle. She didn't pressure us in any way, but had that special gift of selling us the right vehicle. Hand downs, I would recommend highly Jennifer K. to anyone who is interested in purchasing a vehicle at Morrie's in Brooklyn Park. My Mom and I walked away feeling we were treated with sincerity and honesty.

Safest car and would recommend this dealer to everyone.

We goit our new Subaru in April after a car accident, that totaled our old car and injured both of us. We asked around for opinions on the best and safest car. Subaru came up the most. So we came to Morrie's in Brooklyn Park. Drew was very knowlegable about the car and helped us pick out the best car for us. Everyone working here was so friendly and helpful. Since Subaru is one of the top in safety - that was one of our reasons for going with Subaru. We test drove it on ice and were impressed with how good it drove. Also other Subaru drivers had nothing but good things to say about their Subaru and keep staying with Subarus.
