Dealership Sales Review

Not too bad, but do your research.

onAfraid of all the rather negative reviews, I proceeded to talk to other dealers in the area.
My family had bought a Honda from Thelen in Bay City, and I tried Kalamazoo as well.
Ultimately, things did not work with Thelen, and I had no particular draw to work with the Kalamazoo dealership (though to their credit it was more due to the distance - they did not give me much trouble).
So, I decided to chance it and give it a shot with Williams.
Now, in all fairness, I had been servicing a previous Subaru with them for some time, but was looking to upgrade to a 2011 WRX.
So I put in a request for a quote, and I was promptly contacted with some information.
After some negotiation, I came out to a price just above invoice (fairly in line with the TMV), and we decided to proceed from there.
I don't know if I just got lucky or if others were unfortunate to have a bad day with them, but I had a pretty hassle-free and low-pressure experience.
Would I say they're absolutely magnificent and a wonderful dealership?
No, but I definitely can't say my experience was negative.
It was due in part to the fact that I had some heavy research done beforehand, and had prices and firm offers from other dealerships at my leverage, but all in all things went well for me.
So my only recommendation is to make sure you know your stuff (and I'm not insinuating any of the reviewers before me did not), and hopefully you might get as lucky as me.
Or perhaps they changed some of their employees.
Good luck to anyone else!
