Bad Sales Staff
by 03/02/2011
onWe were shopping for a vehicle and looking to purchase that day. We knew the vehicle we wanted and were getting pricing from this dealership. We sat down with a sales person and he was trying the usual runaround on pricing. I stopped him and told him we were looking to buy that day and the exact vehicle we were looking at. I wanted his best pricing. He want and talked to his "manager" and came back and said "I don't normally give this pricing the first time but since you are in a hurry, this is what I can do." I had a better offer elsewhere so I left. He called later in the day and we told him we already purchased a vehicle to which he said "I wish you would have given me a chance to give you my best price." I guess he didn't understand that I was looking for the best price the first time since I was looking to buy that day.

MLK350
by 09/04/2009
onJust bought a MLK350. I did not have time to come into the showroom so I emailed them with what I wanted. The response was very fast at getting back with me with answers to all my questions. I told them that I would not be able to come in for a test drive for 2weeks because of my schedule. "Newton" offered to bring the car out to my place of work for me to take a look at it, I agreed. I have never had service like this from buying a car. Thanks, Betten Imports

Clunker trade in
by 08/04/2009
onJuly 1 I signed papers to purchase a TDI Sportwagen. On July 28 I submitted the documentation for the clunker and all was well. On July 31 at 11 am the sales guy called saying I needed to come in to sign the paperwork. We worked out a meeting place over his lunch to do the paper work. At 11:30am he calls back to say that "they had decided to withdraw the TDIs from the clunker program". Since then no one will answer their phones and no one will talk about their culpability.

sales knowledge

oneven though the sales person was knowledgable, he had absolutely no idea what options came on the make and model of car I purchased. I actually explained more to him than he already knew from the research I had done prior to purchasing.
