Lease 2023 Explorer

I turned in my 2021 Explore lease for a 2023 Explorer lease. Unfortunately, this came with a $180 increase in the monthly payment. I like the new car but this is a stiff increase. I understand inflation and that I had a very good deal on my previous lease. I guess, it is what it is.

My experience with this dealer is that they were straight forward and to the point, with none of the more sales-y tricks like trying to get you to buy things you dont need. They were friendly, easy, and the process was quick. I traveled an hour from home to go to this dealer, and even with that time, I ended up saving time over going to the dealer down the street.

The purchase experience was great. Smooth, quick, and efficient. The post-purchase promised repairs were completed without question. As a former factory service representative I have only one suggestion that relates to the F&I manager, not the Used Vehicle Department which was exceptional and professional. Dear F&I Manager... Go find a copy of the old book “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. Read it. Talk a bit less about yourself and a bit more with and about your client’s interests and then proceed with any additional items you might wish to sell...

They were efficient in the entire process. We drove to Michigan from Illinois to purchase our car. Everything was prepared when we arrived. Nick was friendly, and provided a separate packet which was needed to register the car in Illinois. We felt we got great service, a great car, and a great price.

rust buckets

The late model vehicles we purchased here are both rusting big time already, even with the supposedly extra rust proofing that was paid for. Something is very wrong considering the age. Service after the sale is pretty much non-existing.
