06 MPV LX
by dustin5874 on Tue Aug 01 07:19:04 PDT 2006
I bought my 06 MPV LX from a dealer in Roanoke,VA. MSRP was 28,370 and the out the door price was 21,409 plus tax and title. No fees of any kind. $2500.00 in mazda rebates and $4461.00 taken off by the dealer. I live in Knoxville,TN and after contacting dealers in 10 different states, the dealer in Roanoke won my business. There were two other dealers that were in the same price range and it appears that the bottom line price is somewhere between $6500.00 and $7000.00 off MSRP. I think it depends on the rebates the dealer gets from Mazda because it does vary by state. The dealer in Knoxville wouldn't budge more than $6500 off and I think its because they only had $2000 in Mfg. rebates whereas the dealer in Virgina had $2500.00 and so they had no problem going near $7000.00 off MSRP. I drove my car home last night with 4 miles on the odometer when I left the dealership. It now has around 260 but so far, I like the van and I feel that I got a great deal. In case your curious it has the LX Plus, Sport Package, DVD, Remote Start and Sirius Sattelite for options. I hope this information helps someone out there who might be looking to deal on one of these vans. My wife is not a minivan person but she loves her new car. Its sporty, has plenty of power and versatility and it doesn't look or drive like the other minivans. My wife can still be a mother and look cool and hip doing so and so this was a great choice for us.
I got a great deal on my 3 s 5-door...

I bought it back in December, so I'm sure that accounts for some of the discount I managed to negotiate. My car stickered for $18,100 and the driveout price was $16,000 exactly. That was after a $500 Mazda Zoom Zoom coupon that I had and didn't include sales tax. I had to go to Knoxville TN (from Atlanta) to get the deal I wanted on the exact car I wanted. IT was worth it though. I paid $875 sales tax here in Georgia, so my driveout was actually $16,875. I got the 3 s Touring 5-door, 5-speed manual, Titanium Gray, no options. I got the Touring because I wanted the side airbags. Since the 5-door has the 17" wheels standard, they air bags are actually the only things the Touring model adds to the standard 's'. Anyway, for under $17k out the door I got an amazing car. After 16 years of driving, this is my first non-Honda/Acura vehicle and I couldn't be happier with it. Kinda wish I'd sprung for the sunroof/6CD changer though.

I wanted to get Silver/Titanium 5door hatch GT Manual w/Bose upgrade. Using Mazda.com I did 150 mile radius search on my zipcode(07410) for manual and no matches came up. Let me know if you find something. I was only looking for a 3 s Touring 5-door Manual (more common than GT) in Titanium Gray and there were none within 150 miles of Atlanta, either. I just started picking cities several hours away and got lucky with Knoxville, TN. They had exactly what I wanted and gave me a great deal. I'm driving three hours on Thursday to get it.
Good dealership experience - and they have lots more 8's

I had a good dealership experience picking up my new RX-8 from Mazda Knoxville. I mentioned to my salesman that I "knew" some folks looking for deals on the 8. He said $500 under invoice for any of his remaining RX-8s - they have a pretty good selection, 24 last time I looked on their web page. So if Knoxville, TN is within your travel radius I recommend you look them up and see if they have something you like. I can't post the salesman's name or a link to the dealership, but if you Google Mazda Knoxville the link will come up - and the salesman is the Internet sales manager and his name is all over the web page. BTW, they took my Gerber rebate but did require the original Gerber card. Good luck! Dennis

I had a good dealership experience picking up my new RX-8 from Mazda Knoxville. I mentioned to my salesman that I "knew" some folks looking for deals on the 3. He said around invoice or a little under for the ones he has left. So if Knoxville, TN is within your travel radius I recommend you look them up and see if they have something you like.
