Purchased a 2023 Chevy traverse

I had found the car online and put in a request to test drive the car. I got a response pretty quickly and set up an appointment via text which was very convenient. When I arrived Lukas was very friendly and helpful showing me the car. I took the car for a test drive and explained that I wanted to come back with my husband on Saturday. Lukas gave me his number to text him before we arrive to have the car ready. The extra personal touch was appreciated. After we saw the car again we went through the process to purchase. I had a auto starter installed so I didnt pick up the car for a few days and Lukas kept in touch the whole time. He was very helpful!

Imperial Chevrolet.

Was all but ignored in the showroom. Walked around for quite awhile waiting for someone to assist me . Finally had to go find a salesperson myself. When I did he acted like I was inconveniencing him by being there and asking him questions. Not very courteous. PLUS had my car in for service that day . They worked on it and now I have to bring it back a THIRD time because they STILL have not fixed the issue with it 😡

Waste of time and gas.

Checked on the availability of a 2002 corvette Wednesday night and set an appointment for Thursday Am. My elderly father drove 90 minutes one way to see the vehicle. After 3 hours of being on the lot and NO ONE HAVING ANY IDEA WHERE IT WAS. They found out that the owner had decided to keep the car. When I called to follow up the sales manager had no idea what had been going on for the last 3 hours on said lot. I sold cars. This is an absolute joke of an experience and of a dealer. Unless you’re five minutes away I wouldn’t bother visiting. It’ll likely be a waste of your time.

Everyone was super friendly. My sales rep, Jason, was kind , courteous , gave me options and no pressure what so eve. He was patient and let me do my due diligence and make the calls I needed to make in order to make a decision . Omar in finance was awesome. Finance is usually the worse step in the car buying process since most try to sell you things you do not need. Omar was quick , thorough , explained everything in great detail. he knew what I should consider and told me what I should not consider regarding additional products and did not waste my time trying to sell me what I did not need-VERY unusual. Too many times dealerships are not about the serving the needs of the customer and instead it is about the sale and to sell as much as possible, not here. This is a trust worthy dealership with integrity. When I picked up my Corvette, everyone greeted me, it was a fun experience which buying a new car should be. Thank you team Imperial!

Joshua Pepin, the salesperson who worked with me, was wonderful. He was patient with all of my questions and offered excellent suggestions and advice. Josh made me feel that he honestly cared about what I was looking for in a vehicle. I would recommend Imperial Chevrolet for anyone looking for a dealership that provides great service and I would definitely have them ask for Josh.

Clean Carfax [non-permissible content removed]

My review is a 100% truthful review written about 9 months after a purchase from Imperial Chevrolet, specifically the salesman named "Willie." I visited the dealership for the first time in January and browsed very lightly in their parking lot. I later returned home and researched the entire inventory on the internet, and found a specific car that I wanted. The car was one of only a few within a 100 mile search and it was close to my home so I set up a time with Bruce who told me how nice the car was and so I went down there to see it. I was greeted upon entering, entire staff watching the football game, and I told them (after a moment of unformfort) I was here to see Bruce. Well Bruse didn't end up coming over so I was guided to Willie who said he would help me out. He brought me to the car and I looked all over it in the garage showroom and then we took it for a ride. Willie was very nice and told me all about the car and explained all of the features and showed me everything excellent, not pointing out some serious blemishes which I noticed on the front bumper. The wheels were also in bad shape but we had talked about those so that was OK with me. He mentioned to me his friend had owned this car before, who owned a dealership and had the car purchased for his wife, who primarily drove it. I was happy to hear about that (a woman had been the driver of the 556hp before me) and so I remembered it clearly. He didn't tell me much more except for where all of the music already on the hard drive came from, the previous owner who's wife drove the car. I didn't think much of the wheels and front bumper blemish, as minor as they were, so I left and planned to come back the next day. I did just that, and came down the next day to work out a deal. The internet price was the absolute rock bottom price, which they explained to me. They were hesitant to take off any discount due to the wheels, which was not mentioned in the online listing (on the Imperial website). After all, they did cut the cost by splitting with me the price it would take to fix all four wheels (a total savings of $500). Willie provided me the carfax which was blank, and certified, and showed it wasn't in any accidents and there was absolutely no history. This is where it gets interesting because now that I have owned the vehicle I have brought it to a closer dealership (of my choice) and they provided me the vehicle maintenance and warranty information for my specific VIN # and they told me that the car had actually been in an accident (at least 1) and had welds to the front frame and a significant amount of inner body damage (appraised by my licensed friend to be on the ground of a $3-5k+ body shop accident repair). They took the bumper off and showed me the front driver's side damage and also what they had to do to repair it, and it looks very serious to me. Additionally, Willy never mentioned anything having to do with an accident but the dealership service history for my VIN # shows Imperial Chevrolet worked on my vehicle just before selling it to me (while in their possession) and replaced the front driver's side lower control arm. I can only imagine that this means the dealership covered up an accident. I could not believe Willie told me he knew the previous owners but failed to mention that this car was in a serious accident and they must have replaced the control arm at the same time. This means it was all completed at their dealership, where they had knowledge of the accident. I wish I knew this before I purchased the car, but it was not pointed out to me. I feel very exploited and like a fool. If I could have things my way they should fix this mess that I'm in. They even told me not to mention the accident to a next buyer; this was when I called them on the phone to try figuring out this mess they put me in. They have taken no recourse for me in this matter. They really made a mistake with not telling me this information and I have rated them a 1 because of it.
