Great Internet Experience With Jimmy
Written by 07/21/2013
onI've never had a positive experience with a car dealer until yesterday.
When I bought my Honda Civic in 2006, I had a horrible experience going dealer to dealer, being lied to and treated like an idiot.
It left a really bad taste in my mouth, and I was really dreading having to buy a car again this year.
At Passport, I worked with Jimmy T. from the internet sales group to purchase my 2013 Toyota Prius.
He worked with me via email until we were both satisfied with an out-the-door price (no additional fees whatsoever).
I half expected to arrive and be overwhelmed with slimy car salespeople who would still try to add on a few "hidden fees" to the agreed-upon price.
But it was a great experience--Jimmy had already pre-processed my credit approval before I arrived, and he went over all of the features of my new car with me outside while we waited for the business people to prepare the paperwork.
Then I signed the paperwork with their finance manager, Kristi, who was also super straightforward with me.
Then I drove off!
It was freaking awesome, and very low stress.
I didn't work with any salespeople except Jimmy T., but I was overall a really, really happy camper.
I rarely write reviews, but this one was worth it.
(Note that I also put this review on Yelp, because the more people it helps, the better.
I hate buying cars!)
