I first read about the new CT200h hybrid in March and went to the Lexus website to build my dream car. Shortly thereafter, I was contacted by Chris List and an almost 5 month email friendship began. There were no models to test drive at the time and the tsunami that devastated Japan also devastated my attempt to purchase the vehicle. I put a deposit down and was put on a wait list for my car. At some point, Sheehy had a car available to test drive, so we made the almost 2 hour trek from Southern Maryland to Annapolis. I knew I had made the right decision after I had the opportunity to drive that car. From March until my car arrived in August, Chris and I were in frequent email contact about where I was on the wait list and he faithfully answered every question I had about the car during that time (he even put up with my quirky sense of humor). At another point in the waiting period, I was sent a new iPod Shuffle from Lexus - I don't know if that was from the dealership or from the larger Lexus company, but it was a nice touch to let me know that my patience was appreciated. On the day that we went to finally purchase the car, Chris greeted us at the door and led us to see it - he had put a big red bow on it! I have been to many dealerships where the purchase of a new car took the better part of the day. But Chris had handled almost everything before we got there and we ended up spending a little less than 2 hours there (about a half hour of that was spent in the vehicle reviewing the navigation system and other technology). The process at Sheehy was definitely streamlined and well-organized. Because of the service we have seen thus far, I would definitely recommend this dealership to friends who are in need of a new vehicle and should I ever be in the market for a new car in the future, Sheehy of Annapolis will be the first place I contact.
