Puchase of a 2019 Ford Raptor truck

I purchased a 2019 Raptor from Orr Ford. The salesman, Ben Logue was very knowlegeble of the vehicle. He handled himself in a honest and humbled way. I was very pleased with this purchase.

Deceptive Practices, Poor Response

They said they did not have any additional fees to buy a new truck, just the sales price and what the DMV charges. Then we got home and saw a $200 fee slipped in, which is not a mandatory state fee. We did not finance or required a credit check, and they couldn't explain what it was for, just that they charge this to everybody. Then why did they not tell me about it beforehand! [non-permissible content removed]. And of course they kept not calling me back for days, had to go back in to finally force a response, which was inadequate.

I had not seen Jimmy Grangier since 1997. Out of the blue I stopped in and spoke to one of Jimmy's salesman, and I ended up buying a used truck for my work. Jimmy Grangier's team stepped up to the task. I am not a rich man and being self employed it made getting this used truck difficult. I am a stickler about honesty,and the first thing I noticed was the fact that each person I dealt with was truly honest. Too honest can hurt you at times, but in this case regarding finances and income it was imperative for both sides. The finace team, sales team and Jimmy did everything above board. I said it before and I will say it again, Jimmy made sure I had a tool to work with, "tool" being my truck. I even had to have service done and Jimmy took care of that too like no other dealership. I have spoken to so many people about Jimmy to discover the same thing. Jimmy Grangier has the most honest and helpful dealerships in the state of Louisiana. I have recommended to many to buy from Jimmy Grangeir and I will continue to do so until I fall over dead! My father bought automobiles from Jimmy Grangier and I have bought from him beginning in 1990. My son is now in the Army and he will be buying a new truck from Jimmy after January 2009 when he gets out on leave. This is a company that I would work for as well. Walk in and see for yourself! You will not find pressure tactics nor will you find rude people. You will discover the same thing everyone else discovers, A true Family feeling! If you do not consider Jimmy Grangier when shopping for a new car or truck or even a used auto you may miss out on the best deal ever.
