Marcus stayed in contact with me while awaiting my new car to arrive and he called as soon as it got to the lot. He did most paperwork over the phone so it didn’t take long… before I was able to leave with my new car. Marcus is very personable and friendly. He spoke to us about his family as we did ours and we felt very comfortable trusting him. We did a test drive and I loved it. We did the paperwork and they… held it for me until I could pick it up. Everyone was so kind , knowledgeable and patient with me.when I picked it up Dustin explained everything about the car very patiently . As long as they follow through on some accessories agreed upon at… signing the entire process will have been perfect. This is one of the biggest purchases you make in your life and they did everything to make it as easy as possible. Butch Cole is so easy to talk to, knows… everything about the vehicles and made the decision making process easy. Ted Terzia in finance did a great job of explaining the process along the way, when signing a hundred places! They really do everything they can to make it as easy and simple as they can. Excellent service with a sincere desire to help you.i would highly recommend Red River Chevrolet to friends and family wanting to buy a new car.Price change
by gkayn on 07/04/2014I always get good service when I bring my car in. My bill this time was ten dollars more and the young lady could not tell me why. She explained that it had to do with the amount of oil that I needed. It was an oil change. You drain the… oil, put new filter in then re-add new oil. I would think that it would take the same amount of oil each time. So why was the price ten dollars higher?Not contacting Extended Warrenty before repair.
by watsonjlw on 08/25/2010We bought a truck at Minden Chevrolet Jan 2009. We purchased an extended warrenty. Minden went out of business almost as soon as we bought the truck. Therefore, we took out vehicle to Red River for service.*/09/2010. Red River did not… contact the extended warrenty before it was done. So now the extended warrenty will not pay and are requesting we pay and submit a request for reimbursement, which they admitted, they will probably not do. I have contacted numerous Chevy customer service (8) and they are unable or unwilling to help. They tell me our warrenty is "after market". They don't like that and how was we to know? The dealer told us it was the best and cost us $1695.00 and evidently it isn't worth the paper it is written on. I was also told by coustomer service they should have not fixed the vehicle without a signature to work on it . So my advice is do not trust any dealer ship when they sell you the "best" and tell you it will be honored at all their companys dealership. The repair to fix this vehicle is $1700.00 and at this time the dealer will not release the truck until it is paid. So now we are paying for their mistake and will probably never get any or all of our money back!The member and his son brought in their 2009 Chevrolet Silverado to our dealership on 8/3/10. they had two major concerns. A) The check engine indicator lamp is on and the reduced engine power indicator is on. B) The air conditioning would not blow cold air. We received the authorization from member to diagnose the concerns, after diagnosing the concerns we called with an estimate for repairs. At that time he authorized the cost of repairs. We performed the repairs which included replacing the air filter, mass air flow sensor, fuel filter, changing the oil and performing an exhaust regeneration. We also replaced some air conditioning actuators to repair the air conditioning system. At no time prior to the repairs being performed was a service contract/extended warranty mentioned to us. When the repairs were completed, we talked to Mrs. to let them know the vehicle was ready. It was at this time that she let us know they had a aftermarket extended service policy. On their behalf we called their extended service policy company and were informed that the customer is required to get prior authorization before repairs are performed and therefore they would not pay us; however, they informed us to have them pay for the repairs and submit for possible reimbursement. We have been honest and upfront with them and did not perform any repairs without their prior authorization. Had we known about the warranty coverage, we would gladly have assisted them in this matter; even though their policy is not sold or service through GM or this dealership. We empathize with them, however, we are only asking for the payment of the services authorized and provided. Joe Rider-Service Manager
