Recommend Porsche Dealership

This review is a long time coming but better late than never, particularly in terms of giving kudos. I was looking for a good combination of options on a Boxster S and found one on the net at Brian Harris Porsche. I worked with Jeffrey Scharwath and he made the experience an excellent one. I have been dealing with most of the Houston Porsche dealers and was getting frustrated in the process until I found THE car at Brian Harris. I decided to fly in to Baton Rouge one Saturday for a look see and ended up driving it home to Houston that very afternoon. Many thanks to Jeffrey and the entire team at Brian Harris Porsche. You'll be my first choice the next time I'm shopping around again. It may be an effort since it's out of town for me, but the "in-town" service feel is super.

We bought our 06 A4 cab from brian harris. Was very happy with the sales experience and service after the sale. All maint. included on the 06 Audi's. Dealership is never crowded. Always treated me right.

Deceptive Sales Tactics

When buying my certified preowned '03 Boxter, with 29,950 miles on the odometer, I was told that all of the 30.000 mile service work had been done on the vehicle. I was told that with the multi-hundred point certification process that the dealership couldn't let it out of the door unless it was done. A few months later I brought my Boxster in for an electrical repair (not covered under extended warranty). After the repair was done, I was presented with a list of suggested service that was needed on my car. They suggested the 30,000 mile service and told me that it had not been done. (Expensive) And another $2500.00 in additional service that wasn't listed on the service schedule. If I followed their strong suggestions, the money I saved by buying a preowned vehicle would rapidly be lost. When I spoke to the people at the dealership about what had happened, they only shrugged their shoulders and didn't offer any way to rectify the problem..This is the only dealership in Baton Rouge. In the future I will travel to Metarie to buy or have any service work done my vehicle.
