New Century Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram

I may be a woman but I have owned my fair share of Dodge diesels. Mr. C., the service manager, tried to convince me I needed a new injection pump and it was going to cost well over $2000. My truck ran great but occasionally started hard...not the symptoms of injection pump failure. I asked if it could be the lift pump and Mr.C. told me no. He stated that they needed to replace the injection pump but there was NO guarantee that would fix the problem.!?! I picked up my truck (it started and ran great) and took it to another diesel mechanic. Both he and ANOTHER mechanic agreed my truck needed a new lift pump. It was replaced for $600 and I have had no further problems. Mr. C. charged me $109 to "diagnose the problem". I requested a refund and was emphatically denied. He was rude and condescending. I will never do business nor refer business to this dealership again. They cannot be trusted!
