Crown Volkswagen in Lawrence, Kansas has much to be proud of and their sales department is the first group you meet when you walk in the showroom. Van Thompson, a professional salesman who really knows how to listen to a buyer, reached out to me after I did some research on Edmunds.com and had the vehicle I was interested in ready for me to test drive when I arrived. He facilitated the process that led to our purchase of a new VW, I recommend Van as a salesman that takes the extra step in making your vehicle purchase as smooth as possible.

Painless process and great salesmanship

Purchased a new Toyota Rav4 from Richard Heuertz at Crown. He was very professional and to the point, and got me exactly what I was looking for. He kept me updated while the vehicle was in transit. He made my first car purchase on my own a smooth and painless process. When the car finally arrived, he was awesome enough to offer and come in on his day off so I could pick up my new vehicle. He had most of the paperwork done by the time I arrived and I spent less than a couple of hours dealing with my trade-in, making the exchange, and finishing the financials with Adam. Overall it was a great experience and I'm extremely happy with my Rav4 Hybrid!

Charlie Ross makes you feel like family

My family has purchased 3 vehicles from Charlie Ross at Crown because he consistently takes the time to get to know you and your needs. He is not pushy and is open to inform you when a deal is not realistic. Charlie has been a salesman that I’ve Informed others of when they mention looking for a vehicle. I’m a bit finicky when car shopping and like to check out a few different dealerships before making a move. I started with Crown and am glad I did. I was checking out cars in the lot and Myk Barta approached me and answered all questions I had. We drove a couple different atlas crossports. I found one I really liked and a deal was made shortly there after. The entire process is never a fun one: it usually takes a long time and is tedious with the seemingly endless paperwork that needs to be completed. Regardless, we got it done. Myk was very informative, professional and just a nice guy. It was a bit of drive for me but worth it. This is my first VW but am used to and familiar with the quality of German autos. I will be going back in a couple of weeks to get black powder coated wheels on my new atlas cross sport because I’m not a “basic [non-permissible content removed]”, as the “kids” say. :). Big shout out to Dallas and Adam as well! I shall see how the service department handles my finicky personality when they swap out wheels and I will review that after our business is complete. I highly recommend Crown VW. It’s definitely worth a look

Great place to buy a car from. Nile's my salesman was very nice and helpful and got things done fast. Even though they just got the car in and hadn't checked it out yet they still inspected it after my buying it and did about $1000 dollars in repairs for free. The price of the car was in market range and the financing was really simple and reasonable, they found a great bank and great rate. Dallas the finance manager was easy to talk to, listened to my concerns and honest. Everyone I encountered there was pleasant and helpful. Will probably buy there again in future. Highly recommended.

Crown Volkswagen did a great job in getting me the perfect VW Atlas for my wife. Kristen Efurd, the Internet Manager, made sure to beat out the competition with her near instantaneous response to my internet search and inquiry. This caught my attention and drew me in quickly. Then, her partner -- Jadyn Anderson -- followed up immediately and was fantastic to work with -- she made sure to assist with the sale and help me get the value I was seeking on my trade-in and make the purchase a smooth process. The Sales Manager put icing on the cake by giving me a large bow to put on the vehicle as a present for my wife. It was the perfect anniversary present and Crown VW made this a smooth and pleasurable process. I highly recommend this dealership and love our new VW Atlas. It purrs like a kitten! You never know what to expect when purchasing a car- it has always been something we dread. We were referred to Tristan through a friend and to say that our expectations were met, would be an understatement! He was honest, knowledgeable and made us feel like family. If I could give him 100 stars I would! Thank you Crown VW and Tristan for my new ride and exceeding all expectations! We will be back... but hopefully not for a while! :)

I had a truly wonderful experience with Crown Automotive in Lawrence, KS. I previously worked with a dealership, which I was very frustrated with. I contacted Van, and within hours, we had completed my purchase. They did their best to accommodate my unique circumstances and take care of my needs the best they could. I will definitely return to them for future vehicle purchases and highly recommend anyone looking for a car to visit them!

FAST Car Buying Process

I worked with Joe Higdon to purchase a 2021 VW Tiguan. I showed up at the dealership late in the afternoon and they stayed late to accommodate my needs so I could drive the car home that night. I love my 2021 Atlas Cross Sport! Working with Tristan made the experience of getting my car extremely easy. You can tell he really cares about getting his customers the best deal. After test driving a few options, I needed to go back to work. Tristan took the time to continue texting me options and going over my exact desires in a vehicle over text message throughout the day, and I was able to grab my vehicle that evening. Thank you Tristan and thank you Crown for my new wheels! I am in love!

Leasing and purchasing new cars has always made me a little nervous, but that changed when I walked into the Crown dealership in Lawrence. I worked with Joseph, Jacob, and Dallas. All three men were perfect gentleman and very professional. I walked out of the dealership with the exact car that I wanted. Not only that, but I was not pressured to purchase packages I did not feel I needed. I will definitely go back to Crown again!

We worked with Charlie, Jacob and Dallas through the course of the last month. We were not in a position to buy yet, but Charlie and Jacob made it possible. They were very professional, were knowledgeable about their vehicles, and most of all treated us like family. We were not able to travel to pick up our new Atlas due to Covid so Charlie personally delivered the car and went over all the features. We are able to call him with questions and that is something we love. He followed up with us and was an all around awesome guy to work with! We wouldn’t recommend any other dealership because we have never been treated so well! If you’re in the market and looking at Crown, you’re making a great choice! Thank you all for everything!

Jadyn and Jacob did an outstanding job this past weekend with getting the rates and payments I desired. Crown VW is my families first choice in dealers, the entire family owns a VW from Crown. They have always taken very good care of us and respect us as people, they don't try to pull any fast ones with us and we drive 1 1/2 hours to go see them. The service department is also extremely nice and takes care of me and my family when we need service done on our cars.

A Pleasant Leasing Experience From Start to Finish

We recently leased a 2019. Passat from Crown Motors with help of Zack. This was a pleasant transaction from start to finish. Zack was very patient , polite and courteous. We felt under no pressure to finalize a deal. Crown Motors. With little notice, he facilitated our requests over several days to test drive vehicles and allowed us ample time to review several lease options. When we made our final decision, we were in and out if the dealership in about an hour, which is very prompt service. Car purchases or leases are always a strain but Crown Motors tries very hard to minimize that through attentive and accomodating service. Of the five VW dealers we know in the Kansas City area, Crown Motors is tops and Zack is one of the nicest sales person we have ever dealt with in over 20 years of lessing cars every two or three years.
