My purchase experience with Pat McGrath Chevrolet

onIn 2013 I bought a new Chrysler through another dealership - my first Chrysler.
After a couple months I experienced issues with the brakes. Despite numerous efforts, I could not get Chrysler or the dealership I bought it from to fix the problem. I have never owned a vehicle (new or used) that had an issue that could not be fixed. There I was with a brand new car that the manufacturer nor the dealer would stand behind. Needless to say, it took a lot for me to walk through the doors of another dealership. It was a cold call from Spike that lured me in. Something in his voice...something unassuming. He didn't try to pressure me. I gave him a list of needs and a list of preferences. He listened to me. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. He answered my questions and he was patient. Ohhh soooo patient. There is a certain level of trust one must possess to buy a big ticket item knowing that only time will tell if the dealership/manufacturer will stand behind it. Spike was able to get me to that level - despite my prior experience with a another dealership. I cannot overlook the contribution Derek made in my purchase. His personality complimented Spikes efforts. I like dealing with people who speak to me, not at me. Derek took the time to explain the math and I wasn't afraid to tell him his number was too big. His sense of humor helped break the ice and made me feel more comfortable. It has been said that people are a company's greatest asset. I've walked out of a car dealership even though I knew exactly what I wanted simply because I couldn't stand salesperson. Long story short......Spike and Derek are the reason I bought my car at McGrath.
