Harper in Knoxville, TN looks to be 6 hours away from you. Nice deals, no BS, and $0 doc fee. It is where I got my G37. Dennis

The M lease is finally at the end :D ? The dealer I got my card from in Knoxville (Harper) might be worth a call or e-mail. They have $0 doc fee, but normally get $700 over invoice for an Internet deal. With the $350 loyalty cash you would be looking at no more than $350 over invoice for the car, destination, and dealer fee. No hidden fees and no mark up on the lease MF or bank fee either. Just something to keep in mind. Last chance to get the sedan rather than the coupe as well :D . Dennis

I got mine from Harper in Knoxville. They have no doc fee and don't mark up the lease rates. If they have a 6mt to lease you it would be at the VPP price with $0 additional. Might be worth the drive to go get it - it is not that far but premium is well over $4 a gallon now. You can contact me via my profile if you want more info. You are correct, with that dealer's high doc fee you are better off at invoice + doc fee than the VPP price + doc fee. A net of nearly $600 over is not that bad for a coupe, I don't think, and 6mt models can be hard to find. When I get a minute I can try to run the numbers and see if they match, but otherwise that is an OK deal. Dennis

To me, yes, to you , no. Mine came from Harper in Knoxville. In some states the fee is regulated in other states (like mine) it is not. So if you have a VPP claim code you should hunt around for a dealer in your area that has little or no fee - which should net you the best price. My local dealer adds over $1k of dealer options to every car before they are offered for sale, they have a near $500 doc fee, and they mark up the lease rates. You can't get a good deal there with or without a VPP code. Dennis

When I was looking last year the dealers could not find the car I wanted (6mt SEDAN) so they were going to try to order me one near the end of June - but it was too late to get an 07 so they had to order an 08. By the time it came in the lease rates were terrible so I did not take it. With the G made overseas there is a pretty long lead time from order to delivery, but you should have maybe 6-8 weeks to order one now. Did you check with Harper in Knoxville? I got my G37 from them and with the $0 doc fee and no lease rate mark-up makes for a nice deal. Dennis

Are they charging you anything for the "locate" (drive or haul the car you want to your dealer) ? If not then this is just a "OK" deal, if they are charging you then it sounds like a bad deal. I got my G37 from Harper in Knoxville and they have a $0 doc fee. So if you could get them to do the car for the same or similar price you could save $500 by just driving a little bit. Even better if you knew someone who worked for Nissan or if your company did work for them, then you could get a VPP claim for and get the car from Harper for about $300 over invoice and no fee.
