2010 M35 Sports vs. Base
by valueguy on Mon Oct 12 07:16:28 PDT 2009
Anyone care to comment on the ride of the M35S vs. Base? How much louder is the ride? I like the ride on the BASE but just can't buy without the Sports package. The car has a MSRP of $51,770 for a 2010 M35. I will be paying cash/purchase. Should I offer $41,770 plus tax, tag and title? I live in Central Florida but would be willing to travel 200 miles for this deal. Any suggestions? Thanks
Next batch of 2009 G37's
by gatorody on Fri Oct 09 15:03:51 PDT 2009
Sewell GSM, Could you confirm if the next (would it be the last?) batch of 2009 G37's are scheduled to be delivered to dealers end of October? I live in central Florida and just started shopping for a Journey Sedan with liquid platinum / graphite combo, premium & nav. Looks like there aren't many with this configuration. However I am not in a rush and wondering if it's worth the wait for a couple of weeks. Hence the question. Thank you in advance for your response.
Re: G37x coupe pricing quote [speedricer]

I live in central Florida, so I shopped online with Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando. I bought a the G37 coupe with Navi and Premium Package and a few small options for $2600 under dealer COST, or about $6200 off MSRP, i.e. MSRP $43,255 and my cost $37,064. This included the $2000 dealer incentive and a $599 discount to offset their $499 dealer fee. I did the entire deal online with Carey at Orlando Infiniti. What a great experience, and they had the color combo I wanted. We went down on a Saturday and test drove it and picked out the color. No pressure, No BS. Definitely fun to drive and beautiful inside.
Still looking for an 08 M35
by br2376 on Thu Jan 08 13:54:34 PST 2009
Hi all, I have been looking at leasing a M35 here in the Central FL area and I was wondering if anyone has any info on the current deals since the Jan 5th expiration date of the past ones. I am currently leasing a Fx35 with one more month left. Has the money factor/residual/loyalty $ on the 08 M35s changed? Any input as to the timing, negotiating or anything else in leasing would be greatly appreciated. PS I will not deal with Orlando Infinit. They have done nothing but waste my time.
Not all dealers....

... are dealing. After reading these threads I decided I may just trade my hybrid in for a M35x. I expected a beating on the trade but the deal looked straight forward. On the "final" offer from the dealer (in Pittsburgh), they showed me getting $7500 off of MSRP on the M. I said the rebate (several times they corrected me to imform me it was no a rebate _I knew that but refused to let them think it's their money) is $7500 straight from Infiniti. That means you didn't discount the car at all from the dealership. Then they showed me the trade value. It was Kelly Blue Book trade value LESS tires and a few small items. Basically they want to give me trade in value less this cost to fix it up, so they spend a few bucks at my expense to turn it into a KBB "retail" value that is about $6,000 higher than what they gave me. I had purchased an FX45 back in 2004 from this dealer. I don't necessarily expect a great deal, but I refuse to walk out of a dealership without letting them know that I know better. When I got home I looked at the current trade in value on the 2008M35x with normal milage and it appears that even with the huge discounts the value I would recieve from the car was almost $10,000 less than what I would pay for it. I'm considering going to used cars Also, they had a 2007M45 sport with a MSRP of $55,000. It was new with only 188 miles. I asked if they were collecting it or was it for sale? It was RWD he said and it did not move. He said I could probably get $10K knocked off of it. I laughed, it may be new but it's still 2 years old as a 2007 model. Looks like I'll hunt for a deal somewhere else.
Getting hard numbers
by ewl88 on Thu Jul 24 17:23:04 PDT 2008
I live in Central NJ. I am replacing my M35x with a G35x when the former's lease ends in August. I have had trouble getting any real numbers from local dealers. Circle for example will give me only monthly prices for a G35x with nav, premium, wood. $496 per month, 39 months/12000. Doc fee 259. $1792 due at signing. Following the advice from this forum , I am trying get selling price and lease factor but they won't give me that info. I guess I was too honest and mentioned I would cross-shop at ray catena. I have gotten more real numbers from Ray Catena but they wanted to shift me to the sports package and a "custom" wood package. (the sports package doesn't have wood) I will visit ray catena in person but they have been reluctant to give numbers out over email or phone also for the options I want. I get the sense that the smaller players are not giving out numbers for fear of the bigger dealers getting the customer based on price. At this rate, they may lose me just because they are irritating me. The sales guy even sounded angry because I was asking for this information! Isn't shopping multiple dealers the only real way to get a decent price?! Is this happening to other people?
