We had a great car buying experience with Currie Motors in Valpo. Our sales associate, Mark, was friendly and easy to work with...not pushy at all. All of the other staff was courteous, helpful and considerate of our time. We are very pleased with our new vehicle: it is a 'brand new' kind of clean, came with a full tank of gas and a fresh coat of wax.

I bought a Ford Explorer Limited. I knew which car that I wanted before I went to the sales lot. I test drove the vehicle and told them I wanted the car within an hour. The sales person was brand new (He sold his first car to me) so I do not fault him. It took over 6 hours for me to purchase the car. That is completely ridiculous, it was so much easier, and much, much quicker buying my house. I do not know why it took that long. The three other people who were helping the new guy with the sales talked quickly. When ever I had a question, they talked around the question and didn't answer the question, like politicians do. There were hidden fees that should have been explained at the get go which weren't. With the exception of the new guy, everyone pressured me to give the sale person (the new guy) 5 stars so that it would reflect badly on him. He is new, new people learning don't get 5 stars. If this was my first car buying experience I would never buy another car. The only thing positive that I can say is that I do like my new car.

Not sure what is going on there. I think 2.5 months is a insane. And the 9 loaners I was in because of their "500" miles limit. I wish FoMoCo would do an audit of my interaction with this dealer. I did buy a used Lincoln, but I couldn't even drive the car home when I purchased it. They didn't even fix all my concerns. Still has issues, and I just cannot see myself going there again. Why? For them to forget something again? Took 4 times for them to fix the center console lid because they forgot to add it. Also, them telling me they are keeping the car for another day for diag, only to find out they lost my key? Telling me it's all complete, but get the car 2 weeks later because you forgot a couple more things? I have been nothing but calm, polite, and understanding. What did that get me?
