Unethical and False Information

onSince we moved to the Naperville area, we have been very satisfied customers of this dealership. This also made us return for our second car purchase at this dealership. With all the research we had done over the past months, we had a pretty good understanding of our needs and which model would be fitting. From the start it became clear that Mukesh did not know the truck that we were looking at and different models of it. He gave incorrect details, could not really explain the difference between models, etc. We came well prepared and did our research upfront. When we got to our trade-in, he gave us false information, pulled up KBB information contradicting the state of the car, etc. Parameters used were different from the car and value was different than Toyota Naperville previously provided us. He mentioned that the dealership always provides a higher value to bring in the customer, the dealership would lose a lot of money and could not sell it themselves (needed to go to auction). The car is now on sale on the Toyota Naperville site ... more than twice the value he told us it was worth and >$6,500 than Mukesh gave us for it. I should have followed my wife's gut feeling and walked away from the deal Mukesh was offering but was already thinking too much of my new truck. Throughout the purchase he kept bringing up stories how good that he was with his previous job managing cookie sales and had no prior car sales experience. This was followed by how he wanted 5 star reviews from us. Mukesh kept hammering on that fact, even when we drove away with the new truck. He mentioned that he would call us the following week as a follow-up to see how the new truck was ... never received a call.

Never thought I could get a 2016 - Scott made it happen

onI worked with Scott, he was very knowledgeable about the inventory. I initially came in to get a $4,000 car. But, really liked the drive of the Rav and it was certified. I have peace of mind knowing my daughter will be in a safe SUV that is AWD. Thanks Scott!

Harvey Nyien, Great Sales Consultant!

onHarvey Nyien helped me finance my 2018 Toyota Camry and was EXTREMELY helpful, and knowledgeable on all the amazing features of the vehicle! The best part was that Harvey wasn't one of those typical pushy car salesmen, he respected my wishes and my opinions. He didn't take up too much of my time when getting the deal I was looking for done! I told him how much I wanted to finance the vehicle for, how much interest I was willing to pay, and at what monthly payment I was looking for! And got it all done in a matter of 15 minutes! Harvey went out of his way to return back to dealership after he had gone home for the day (I left and decided to return for the vehicle) and spent his time helping me with the purchasing process! Harvey was very polite and respectful throughout the entire process! I would definitely recommend Harvey Nyien to any of my friends and family if they were looking to buy a vehicle!

onI wasn't completely thrilled about going to any dealership to purchase a new car, for me it was one of my least favorite things I had done in the past. I always felt very pressured from the sales people and felt they were never going to work with me to get what I wanted exactly and how much I wanted to pay for it. Then I met Robert Kieda. Robert was so wonderful to deal with all around! He was VERY professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I explained what I wanted and he produced just that. He gave me a terrific deal with no haggle, had printed out all the information on the car I had wanted (2017 Camry SE -which I'm proud to say I now own!!!) including all the financing information and even let me go home to think about it without any pressure!!! I bought the car the next day and I am beyond happy with my purchase and the experience all because of Robert! He has changed my views on the car buying process in a positive way and I have told and will continue to tell anyone that will listen to go see him if they are planning on getting a new vehicle. Robert...THANK YOU 1000x's!!!

onWe were referred to Toyota of Naperville via the Costco car purchasing program. Jose met us at the door and immediately started to get to know us and our car needs and interests. He was very knowledgeable about The Highlander which was our car of choice.Throughout our afternoon, he was extremely patient with my husband and all of our questions. He is very friendly and easy to work with - he went the extra steps to locate a car with the exact exterior and interior colors and equipment we wanted. Upon leaving, he sat with us and patiently explained the features on the car that were of more immediate importance to us and gave us his card to follow up if necessary. Couldn't ask for a better car buying experience!

onKareem Thomas was our Sales Consultant last 7/22 -- he was very friendly, knowledgeable, patient and helpful with all our questions. Even after a very long and busy day, he was not rushing us and even helped us get familiar with programming the navi and pairing my phone with our very cute CPO Prius. Eren Gonzalez was our friendly and helpful Finance/Business Manager -- she went over the different Toyota plans with no pressure -- that allowed us to select the best coverage that we wanted for our car. Special thanks to Kareem and Eren for making our CPO car buying experience a most wonderful and memorable one! We highly recommend Toyota of Naperville as a top-notch dealership with friendly and honest staff!

Second smooth Toyota of Naperville purchase

onPurchased through salesperson Justin Buck. Thought enough of his service to go back to him for our second new Toyota Hybrid in the last 4 years. He has a laid back and friendly manner but hes thorough and catches the details. His quotes were up front and complete and he knows the product well. Were Michigan residents and this latest 17 Toyota Camry Hybrid was a cash sale. We price shopped approximately 10 dealers this time and Naperville had the best price by far. Both times everything was ready when we showed up on delivery day. No last minute BS or price adjustments. Justin was mindful of our time and our long return drive. We never felt we were turned over to the other dealer departments just because the sales phase was over. We still had the obligatory meet with the accessory and warranty folks but we simply declined any extras and we were done quickly. I did need to contact the dealers business office for a form I forgot and was helped by Sonia H. who got me what I needed ASAP. Impressive customer service all around. Want to add this for Michigan buyers... Naperville Toyota will provide a 30 day temp tag (drive away tag). A short time after purchase Naperville (or other Illinois dealers) will send you the Certificate of Origin for your new car (COO). The Michigan sales tax is collected by Naperville and documented on the Buyer's Order and the Il. sales tax form. These documents provide the necessary paperwork to title and register the car in Michigan. YMMV but that's how it's worked for us. Five stars for a car buying experience is a pretty high bar but our purchases with Naperville have been smooth and surprisingly pleasant and both times our salesperson was Justin Buck.

onI recently met with Nadeem at Toyota of Naperville, I was shopping for a safe vehicle for my mom & dad. I wanted something that would look out for them as I do, so Nadeem showed me the 2017 Rav4 Limited Awd. this car can practically drive itself ! sensors in front, sensors in back, cameras and radars and bluetooth, Oh My ! and since this is my parents 3rd Toyota from Toyota of Naperville. they felt quite familiar in their new Rav4 ! I couldn't thank the staff enough at Toyota of Naperville, starting with Nadeem, sales manager Suha, and our business manager, the lovely Eren! & what a clean showroom ! what a nice lounge! and the everyone is so freindly and cheerful. Most laid back and pleasant experience I've had

onPays to actually talk to listen to offers. I got called due to having a routine service appointment to see if I'd be willing to talk them about trading in my '14 Camry Hybrid. Glad I listened. I significantly dropped my payment and got a '17. Christopher Stearns was my salesmen. He did a fabulous job of listening to what I wanted and delivering without any pushiness. I would recommend anyone deal with him. Whole process took under 2 hours. Did a great job of keeping us filled in on each step of the process as well. Deb King came in to give the add ons talk. Was friendly, had a sense of humor and listened to what we wanted, which was nothing. Again we didn't feel pressure or hard sells, she was very open minded and listened to us. Mohammad Taiym was also fabulous in explaining the steps of the financing and working with us to find a maintenance plan that made sense. Again, there was no pushiness or trying to steer us. Offered advice and listened to what we wanted. The part that I dread the most of process is the upgrades and warranty chat in the finance room. Mohammad was outstanding in listening and not trying to steer us towards something we didn't want. Very refreshing experience. My service advisor, Kelsey was also very friendly and prompt.

The salesperson, Justin Buck was totally awesome. Great personality, not pushy at all, very easy to work with. He went out of his way to help me get a fantastic deal and pulled it off with ease. onKris Kosinski was very knowledgeable about Toyota products and all the technical features. He was very respectful and I appreciated his no pressure sales assistance. onChristopher Stearns was great to work with. He is a laid back and non-pushy salesman which makes the process much more attractive and pleasant. He is also an honest and transparent salesmen, answering our questions he knew, finding answers to questions he didn't know, and providing information that we definitely wanted to know but didn't think to ask about. This is the second vehicle I purchased from this dealership, and they are good to their loyal customers (new ones too as I saw the first time around)!

We were not predisposed to buying a Toyota but the staff here made it very very easy. onRecently bought my Cerified Pre-Owned 2015 Scion FR-S here. The experience was nothing short of amazing. My Sales Associate, Janine Turner was nothing short of amazing. She gave me a great deal, worked with me every step of the way and went out of her way in so many ways to make this not only an easy and stress-free experience, but to ensure I was happy with the car I was purchasing and that every single one of my (sometimes unreasonable) concerns and needs were met. Did i mention she's actually informed about the vehicles she sells? I'm an automotive enthusiast and the amount of times I have walked into a dealership to ask questions about a car, only to be met with total ignorance over what they were selling has been laughable. Not Janine. Bonus points: She can actually drive a manual transmission. Huge respect. I typically DREAD the idea of buying a car, but this was hands down the smoothest sailing I've ever experienced and I honestly credit it to Janine more than anything. You need a car? Go see her. You won't regret it. We took care of everything over the course of several days. I made several small trips, we settled on a price over over the phone, I put a deposit down, she got the car cleaned up in a jiffy even when I randomly moved my pick-up date up by a day, and she had me out of my old car and into my new one in two hours flat. She never pressured me and she was always patient. Serkan in service also gets a shout out. He listened to my concers about an earlier model year of the FR-S and answered every technical question and historical service question (Within reason) that I could throw at him. He's awesome, too! A++++ Would buy again if Toyota ever makes another interesting sports car to buy. :)

Exceptional Sales

onThis is the second new vehicle we have purchased at Toyota of Naperville. Our sales associate for both purchases was Tom Clancy (Yes, that is truly his name). We could not ask for a better experience. The pricing was very competitive and Tom provided us with the amount of guidance we needed. He answered all of our questions but was never bothersome or pushy. We new that we did not want the extended warranty and were up front with this information. There were no unwanted sales tactics and we were out of the dealership in about 2 hours, including the test drive. We did have our own financing so that did cut down the time. I have not financed with Toyota since 1987, so I don't know how that end operates these days. I would definitely recommend this dealer and specifically Tom Clancy to anyone in the market for a Toyota.
