No Integrity

Getting the deal done was easy and a pleasant experience. However vehicle didn’t make it to first scheduled maintenance. Engine needs replaced. Contacted salesman but was told Perrilo’s wouldn’t do anything. No phone call, no help, nothing. My wife loved the vehicle, but now left with enormous repair bill.

You don't have to be a Bentley buyer

I purchased a used Mercedes from Perillo Downers Grove and could not be happier with the service and accommodation I received along the way, from first contact to handing me the keys. And that care has continued in the weeks that followed also. I took the risk of traveling from out of state to buy the car seen only on Cargurus and their own website, and the car turned out to be all that it was listed to be. Everyone was professional but friendly, even helping out with some local food recommendations for a couple of hungry travelers. They really care about their customers, and for brands of cars that they don't sell new. And it doesn't hurt that their lot is a virtual playground for the serious car-nut! I tend to buy cars only about once every 7-8 yrs, but I had so much fun with Perillo DG that I wish I could buy a car from them every week. Highly recommendable. (Note to Robert: Thanks so much for the 1:1 dedicated care through the entire process. Truly a pleasure to work with you!)

Great car buying experience

I recently purchased a BMW from Perillo Downers Grove dealership and had a great experience. After having several negative experiences at other dealerships and seeing how much better this experience was, I felt compelled to write this review. Dimitri was very patient, friendly and most importantly did not pressure me at all. After looking at the car initially, I came back the next week and test drove the car a 3rd time before I made a decision to buy the car. I found a couple of minor issues after I bought the car. Dimitri and his manager, Dan, stood behind their car and repaired it for me for free even though they were under no obligation to do so. They even provided me a 5 series BMW loaner.

Great Dealership!!!

Bought a BMW online sight-unseen. Vehicle was exactly as described...perhaps better! The sales rep, Mike Jernigan, received my Cashiers' Check on Wednesday, and my car arrived in East Hampton, NY midday Friday. I highly recommend Perillo, and especially Mike Jernigan for a painless transaction.

Long distance transaction

I found a Mercedes SL550 that was the exact color combination I wanted at BDG, which is about 350 miles from my home. I contacted them and was put in touch with Michael B. He sent me more pictures of the car, and we negotiated a price with no hastle. We then agreed on a reasonable price for my trade-in, and completed the deal. We drove to Chicago for the pick-up, and everything was ready as promised. While we were looking around in the showroom, we were greeted with a friendly smile by everyone who walked by. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. No surprises. The business manager who handled the paperwork was friendly and efficient, and helped advise us on the plate transfer. Buying a car without seeing and/or driving it can be a little scary, but BDG made it easy and fun. I highly recommend them.

Great Buying Experience at Perillo Bentley

I recently purchased a 2012 Audi A8 from Dan and Dimitri at Perillo Bentley Downers Drove. The buying experience was enjoyable. The negotiation process was quick and easy over the phone. When I arrived at the dealer, I was greeted by Dimitri. He took us into the back and showed us the vehicle. At that time I noticed a couple minor things that bothered me about the car. After discussing these items, he had told me that they will fix these issues and make sure the car was everything that I was expecting. The issues were than fixed as expected and I'm loving the car. I plan on reaching out to Dan and Dimitri first when buying my next vehicle. Thank You Dan and Dimitri.

Bait & Switch

I recently purchased a Honda minivan from them. The buying experience was better than expected. The staff were all very respectful & nice. The manager gave us a deal & the price we wanted. The low rating is because of what happened after we drove away with the car. During the test drive I saw that all the mats to the van were in the truck of the car. I commented on how nice & band new the mats were to the sales man. After we purchased the car they took the car to be detailed. At that point they removed the mats from the trunk. When I got home I called & asked about the mats and a second key. I was told I would get a call back. I called again and again and sent an email. No response. I called the manager & asked why I haven't heard back about my 2nd key or the mats. He told me they're all missing & he would buy a key from Honda but I'm responsible for taking it to the dealership to be programmed. As far as the mats I'm SOL. Thought it was industry standard to provide 2 working keys & the fact I saw the mats & they were removed during the detailing is BS. I asked manager to replace the mats & he said no way.

Bentley Downers Grove Will Rip You Off

I was ripped off twice by Joe Abbas, the owner. He once sold me a brand new Dodge Viper with 180 miles and 2 weeks later I learned that it was in an accident and Joe Abbas tried to deny the fact that he knew that and tried to blame me. He did end up taking the car back, but I lost almost $3,000 on the transaction between fees and costs like first and last months payment. Prior to that he sold me a used Rolls Royce and I spent over $20,000.00 on various electrical issues and learned that the car was water damaged somewhere and flooded and it had a salvaged title which he somehow had converted to a normal title and failed to disclose that as well. When I contacted my attorney about this, he told me that he had 4 other cases of fraud pending against Joe Abbas and Bentley Downers Grove. I then contacted the State of Illinois Attorney Generals office and was told that they have many complaints against the dealership and that the dealership was in fact being investigated for fraud and deception. Stay away from Joe Abbas and Bentley Downers Grove. The same dealership goes by the name of Luxury Motors, it is one and the same dealership at the same location, he just uses both names.
