Never heard of a car buying experience like this.

onFor my first new car in 30 years, I knew I wanted a Subaru Forester. I'd test driven a few in another state, so when I arrived at Phil Meador while house-hunting for a new job, I didn't want any hassle about choosing my car. There was no pushback: Brent Harland listened to what I wanted, showed me one or two vehicles that came close, just in case, and then carefully ordered for me exactly the options I wanted. He gave me discount based on a referral source, had me put down a modest deposit, and I went back to my hometown. A few weeks later he let me know that the car had arrived on the lot, and he got my loan started right away. The papers were FedExed to me, Brent made follow-up calls to make sure everything was on track, and he said he'd pick me up at the airport when I arrived in town for good. I was sure some hitch would come up: the loan wouldn't be as advertised, some feature would end up costing more or wouldn't be available, he'd get tied up and I'd have to get myself to the dealership. But there was Brent waiting for me when I got off the plane, with my shiny new Subaru ready to drive! We went to the dealership so I could pay the rest of the down payment, get all my documents, and learn the bells and whistles. It was all done in no time. I couldn't believe everything had gone so smoothly. The other people I was introduced to at the dealership were friendly and laid back, and I never felt pressured or deceived. I have since met a bunch of other people in town who also worked with Brent, and they all say that he and the Phil Meador crew did a great job. I'll certainly send anyone here who is remotely interested in getting a Subaru!
