Good Deal In Illinois: by dgrunt5513 on Sun Apr 27 07:30:29 PDT 2008; My wife and I just bought a new car yesterday from Gartner Hyundai in Naperville, IL. We purchased a 08' Santa Fe FWD Limited with Navigation for what I believe was an extremely competitive price. Out the door, we settled on $25,199 + T,T,L; they also gave us a very fair offer on our trade in which will allow us to keep our monthly payment below $400. From my limited experience with the Navigation seems as though it is a fairly good device although I still cannot believe that they do not have an AUX for an IPod.

2006 sonata GL: by enricong on Fri Jul 01 21:33:51 PDT 2005; I just purchased a 2006 sonata GL. I started with using a auto broker, overdriveautobroker.com. He was able to get me, $17515 + 55.39 + ttl + ($300 broker fee) I thought it was a very good price but I went to my local dealer (Gartner in naperville, IL) to check on what price he could give me. he offered 18940. I started out giving him a 17400 price for what I wanted. Later he came back with 17999. I asked him for the invoice price and it included a 500 advertising fee and the floor mats. Then I told him that I need 17500+55.39+ttl at the most. He wrote it out and had me sign it for some reason. He told me I prob cant get it for that price then went back to the manager and told me I had a deal. He said that this still counts as the end of the month so he can give me the price, something like that. The whole thing took me about 20min only. Ironically, it took me another 3 hours to leave, but it was my fault. I took about 30min to pick out a color and test drive it. then another hour on the phone with my insurance company because I'm moving out of state in a month. then another hour waiting to sign the papers because it was the end of the night. Overall a good experience. Same with the broker eventhough I didnt use his services. I feel its a good price. I needed a car now because I'm moving in a month. Otherwise I would have waited for rebates. Any opinons on my price are welcome.
