Targeting price for 2007 Accord SE I4 AT?
by fyt on Thu Aug 23 11:05:07 PDT 2007
Hi everyone, The new Accord didn't impress me so I am ready to go for a 07 SE 4 cyl AT. I reviewed this board and found that the targeting price should be around $17500+TTL, or even lower. Anyone can comment if it is a fair price? I am at Toledo, OH. Thanks.
Re: Lease on 2007 Civic LX sedan with $0 down in Toledo,OH. [wantacivic]

Hi wantacivic. Unfortunately, it appears as though Honda's lease program for the Civic is worse in July than it was in June. I do not believe that it is providing lease support on this model any longer. If this is the case and you were to lease a Civic through Honda Finance between now and September 4th, you would have to use its standard lease program. Honda Finance's current buy rate standard lease money factor for 36 month leases is .00290 for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier and pay a security deposit at lease signing. It's always possible that Honda will make an unscheduled enhancement to the Civic's lease program or introduce some dealer cash on it in August, but I wouldn't count on that happening. Lease on 2007 Civic LX sedan with $0 down in Toledo,OH.
by wantacivic on Sun Jun 24 07:12:47 PDT 2007
Hi. I am in the market for a 2007 Civic LX lease. What do you think is the good deal? The dealers are offering the national lease deal and nothing more($2300 down with $179pm+taxes). I can wait for a month or so to get the lowest price possible. I also heard that in August, the prices are very competitive coz they want to clear the stock for the 2008 cars and are willing to drop a few bucks to get the cars out. Here's what I have: $0 down 12/15K (both are ok) I will pay the bank fees, documentation, title and tax. Credit history not that great. Also, can you show me how to calculate the related fees and where do I get my money factor? Thanks a lot!
HELP! 2007 CR-V LX AWD?
by tabeytabe on Mon Apr 02 06:52:39 PDT 2007
We're about to start the process of looking for the best deal we can find on an '07 CR-V LX AWD for my wife. Neither of us have ever been through the process of negotiating on the price of a new car... I've been sifting through the internet on topics about MSRP, dealer invoice, etc... and I don't TOTALLY understand everything. Does anyone have any helpful tips for us? Around what price range should we start OUR negotiations from? We don't really care about tons of bells and whistles, although we would like to upgrade to alloy wheels (can they just upgrade the wheels, or does it have to be a whole package?) We'll be buying in either Columbus, OH or Toledo, OH... has anyone had a buying experience around those areas? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
Re: Is there any wiggle room in purchase price of '07 Civic? [nr37]

There appears to have a lot of room for negotiating the price on '07 Civic LX. I bought mine (07' Civic LX automatic transmission) on Feb. 14 in Toledo, OH. The MSRP price was $18,355 then. However, based on my calculation, a fair price was $16,700, which roughly represented $16,261 of the invoice prices for the car and $595 for destination charge, and then minus $162 (ie., half of the hold back that dealers would get by selling the car). From some other web-sites, it appeared that Honda dealers would get 2% of the invoice price as the hold-back benefit. And, I think that dealers can keep 1% of this hold-back benefits. I sent this price to 5 Honda dealers around Toledo area, four of them agreed to sell a Civic LX auto at this price. In the end, I just picked one dealer that offered me lowest documentation fees (i.e., $170). Given that so many dealers were willing to sell this car at this price, I would say that even at this price, these dealers could still make some profits, although not much (probably around $172 plus documentation fees). But, that is OK. with me. After all, dealers also need to make a living! It should be noted that my calculation does not involves taxes, because taxes varies across different areas and may creates confusions. Hope that my experience helps!
