Stay Away

by gatoreng on 06/30/2012

Flower's Honda is the most inept car dealer I have ever done business with. Our deal included some accessories that were to be installed when the service department opened back up. After two weeks of waiting for a phone call to schedule an appointment, I had to call them and set it up. We live about 2 hours from the dealership and were shocked when we arrived and were told they did not remember the deal and those involved were not available at the time. Their "misunderstanding" of our deal could have been communicated on three separate occasions before we made the long trip to/from Thomasville for our appointment to have the accessories installed. This was written down when we were negotiating the deal but the dealership would not provide it to me despite acknowledging they had the file. It took four months of constant phone calls and e-mails to finally get the response that they were sorry for the confusion and would not be installing the accessories. Other shady things about the dealership were: We were told our trade would have to be sold wholesale and there was no way it could be sold on the lot. This was an obvious attempt to devalue our trade however it was displayed prominently on the lot with some very complimentary language on the website when we arrived to have our accessories installed. Their salesman, Kyle, was quick to speak poorly of another Honda dealer in Tallahassee when he found out I had been dealing with them as well. While I appreciated the input at the time, I'm sure my experience there could not be any worse than the one at Flowers. When I inquired about an extended warranty I was quoted a price of $1500, this amount was what I was taking into consideration during the negotiations, but on our paperwork the warranty's actual cost was $1100. The negotiated purchase amount took into consideration an $8k payoff on our trade. Our actual payoff was less than that amount and I had to correct that information when we were signing our paperwork. When their finance manager asked Jason about this he stated he was "planning to put that in his pocket." I would encourage anyone buying a vehicle to steer clear of this dealership. Based on my experience, their staff, management, and ownership's interest in the customer ends after the sale.

A Great Sales Experience!

by ecbaxley on 12/17/2009

i just bought two 2010 Hondas from Prestige Honda and it was a terrific experience! I dealt with the Internet Manager, Billy Strickland, and he is truly a man of integrity and honesty! When he tells you something, you can take it to the bank! This is a quality rarely found among car dealers today! I did not experiece any hype and salesperson"hot air" from Mr Strickland! I found the whole staff at Presige to be friendly and most helpful in all ways! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a good deal from honest people! Their prices are the best I have found anywhere! I live 200 miles from this dealership and Mr Strickland delivered the vehicles to me without qualms or equivocation! So folks if you are looking for a truly great new car buying experience go to Prestige Honda in Thomasville, GA, and ask for Mr Billy Strickland! He will fix you up and give you a great deal! Inept

by rangerjen on 09/08/2009

This was a new car off the lot but the car had some dirtiness inside, and one tire was low. I agreed to purchase the vehicle on the stipulation that the car was thoroughly cleaned and the tires aired up. They delivered the vehicle to me in Tallahassee and the car had not been cleaned as promised. I was given a free 1st oil change. Only 4 hours later my tire pressure dash light came on. Upon checking the tires all 4 were at 25psi, the tires were not aired up either. Nic took my trade in and promised my license plate would be mailed back to me so I could complete the transfer to my new Fit. Three weeks passed with me calling over and over again only to be told by Billy the sales manager "I will mail it out this week." When I finally got through to Billy he then told me that he tried to mail the plate to me and that it was returned to him and he had it in his hand right then and would mail it out first thing in the morning. Three weeks after being told I would: A) get my plate in the mail and B) My car would get a detailed cleaning....there still have been no fulfillment of any of these promises. I was given the run around over every issue. I intend to take my car [elsewhere] because I regret buying from Prestige.

Great Dealership!!

by renee10 on 10/19/2008

I had a great experience with Julian and his crew at Prestige Honda. I actually bought a used vehicle from them with very low mileage. I was an out of state buyer and they treated me like I was in their showroom! We communicated by e-mail and phone during the whole deal. They were wonderfully polite, and prompt, and easy to deal with. I highly recommend them!!
