BEST first time buyer experience

I recently bought a used car from Nissan of Newnan and it was my first time buying a car. I am a 22-year-old female, and everyone had prepared me for an experience that would be awful. I was told that salesmen are pushy and will try to pressure or scam me. However, that was not the case at all. I worked with KD my initial day and then came back 5 days later and worked with Najalee. Najalee was amazing to work with. She was not at all pushy or trying to scam me since I am a young first-time buyer. The process was smooth, and she worked really hard to get me the best deal possible. I am so fortunate to have had a great car buying experience and I don’t think I would have had that experience anywhere else. If you are considering purchasing here, I highly recommend it and I also highly recommend working with Najalee Johnson.

Just Say No

Tried to rip me off by overcharging for my “best price” from their website. I had it screenshot. Salesman claimed to correct it but they made up for it with ENORMOUS FEES!! A very uncomfortable experience for my husband & me! False advertisement, thousands above the online “best price!” 1 STAR

Poor Customer Satisfaction

The problem is that after we had agreed upon a price/payment and closed on the deal. While waiting for the paperwork to be completed by finance someone came out and stated; “we cannot do anything for you thanks for coming”. I am not sure who this person was as he did not introduce himself or to explain the reason for the change after we had closed on a deal. We searched online and found this location which we felt would be the best deal and customer satisfaction experience and drove three hours from Albany, Georgia to the Newnan, Georgia location. The purpose of this letter is to be used as training tool during one your next management customer service satisfaction meeting. No reply is necessary and hopefully other customers will be treated with a little more dignity and respect.

Great Sales experience

We had a wonderful buying experience at Nissan of Newnan. Chris Mackkinen was a very good salesman. He was genuinely interested in helping us find a car to fit our needs. He was very knowledgeable and helpful to us. He was not pushy at all. He knew all the answers to my questions about the cars. I would highly recommend him as a car salesman. He has a good personality and is easy to talk to as well. It was an enjoyable experience. We also enjoyed working with Dayton Hedges as the sales manager. He was very nice as well. Nissan of Newnan has a great environment. It is very clean and inviting. I recommend Nissan of Newnan for your car buying needs.

Avoid the "Salesman if the Year"

The salesman I worked with was sneaky and selfish. All he cared about was making a sale. This was my first time buying a car and he took advantage of me. First, he ran my credit over 7 times WITHOUT telling me he was doing so. My score dropped over 20 points! Also, he lied to the banks about my job title and how much I made again WITHOUT permission. And he didn't tell me about it until AFTER he had done it. He also got me to sign papers before hiding all this from me so I feel trapped. I did not follow through with the transaction because it did not feel right. He was always disappearing and when he did talk to us he would give us minimal details on what he was doing. Just very underhanded and shady over all and I am very disappointed with Nissian of Newnan for having such a terrible salesperson on the team. I am looking into legal actions and how I can deal with this issue because I feel like what he is doing is punishable by law. I HIGHLY recommend you AVOID Kelvaleski (kelvin) Davis if you want an honest, helpful salesperson.

Dishonest "fees"

I found the exact car I was looking for and ended up purchasing it. The salesman was personable, and seemed quite helpful in answering questions about the vehicle. Overall, my experience would have been excellent, except… When I negotiated the price with the salesman over the phone, we discussed the dealer's price, apart from Tax, Title and License – fees that are imposed by the state or municipality and are not controlled by the dealership. Only after flying from central Texas to Atlanta and having a 12 hour return drive ahead of me, did I find out that Nissan of Newnan had not giving me an honest price. At the signing, the dealer was adding nearly $900 to the sales price and calling it a transaction "fee." To be clear, this so-called "fee" was not imposed by any state or municipality, nor was it benefiting anyone but the dealership. It was simply a markup to the sales price, an added profit, dishonestly represented as a "fee" and hidden with all the other legitimate taxes and fees. The finance manager seemed genuinely dismayed and apologetic that the salesman did not give me an honest price of the vehicle that included this $900 "fee." However, he was unwilling to meet me halfway or make any compensation for the discrepancy. I have bought many, many cars – both new and used – and this was positively the worst moment in that history. I felt over a barrel, manipulated and tricked. For this reason alone I will never do business with the dealership again. And my advice to my friends and family is the same.

Exvcellent Buying Experience

I liked this place because the typical high-pressure sales force was not present. Also, great deal on new vehicle that was exactly what I wanted. Got the price I wanted without major haggling. Recommended !!! Now let's hope that the service department experience matches the buying experience. Thanks Y'all !!!

Think Twice

I'm a military veteran, and this dealership was very disrespectful, and they treated me like a second class citizen. People of color this is not the dealership for you. The people who I spoke to on the phone, wouldn't come out and greet me. Their only concern is to get you to the dealership under false pretense. The only bright spot was the sales rep named Kirk. He was totally unaware what transpired behind the scenes, so he innocent, however; Brad the sales manager, Britt Collier, Haley Sweat, and another sales represenative named Ashley were really deceiving. I will tell everyone at the VA and my fellow veterans to avoid this place, like the plagued. Buyers be ware, these people will lie to you over the phone, and via email to get you down to the dealership. Prior to getting to the dealership, I was told two managers reviewed and approved my application. Moreover, once I completed the online application, I received immediate approval and my credit score. Furthermore, I was advised that I would be dealing with management only. I reiterated that I needed guaranteed approval prior to me driving an hour out of my way. Haley Sweat put me on hold and confirmed approval. Needless to say I drove home in my old car, and I was told to call back Monday. What kind of customer service tells the customer to call back, instead of telling the customer I will follow up with you on Monday. I called Britt back to ask why she never came out and acknowledge me, and I asked why she lied. Britt Collier hung up on me. Lastly, Veterans and People of color make some additional calls to other Nissan dealerships before you decide to deal with NISSAN OF NEWNAN. I wouldn't see a reason as to why you would not have a selection to choose from unless you chose a specific stock number on an Altima already. Beware of Bait and Switch

Husband and I saw a car on their website. Called to make sure the car was actually on the lot. They said yes. I asked again and told the person at the dealership that I wanted her assurance the car was there and she assured me over and over that it was there. We drove the 20 miles to see this one car that we really wanted to see for specific reasons. We did not want another car and we made that clear on the phone. Guess what - yep, the car had JUST been sold!! Still makes me angry to think about it. We left immediately before they could even start in on trying to sell us another car. Even better, they called us a few days later and said, oh lo and behold, the car didn't sell after all and did we want to come back and see it. The guy was nice (Dane, i think) and I felt bad for him because I think he was caught in the middle but I laughed and told him the wasn't a way in hell we would ever step foot in that dealership again. Just a forewarning if you are looking at cars on their website. It looks like others have had a good experience and I am glad for them but we certainly did not!

2016 Rogue purchase at Nissan of Newnan

Want to give a 5 star review to Steven Fowler, Steve Weir, Jose Nieves and Mike Grubbs who assisted my wife and me on the purchase of her new 2016 Nissan Rogue. They stayed late until we were completely satisfied and gave us the best deal on our purchase. I definitely recommend Nissan of Newnan for the purchase of you vehicle. The service is great and the place is very nice.

Best Dealership EVER!!!!

My husband and I just bought our FIRST new car on yesterday from Nissan of Newnan. After about a week of shopping around, visiting and/or speaking with sales people from other dealerships we had just about given up, but decided...after speaking with Cassie, who intently listened to my apprehensions reassured me, but went a step further to have me speak with her manager, Britt who convinced me to drive an hour and give Nissan of Newnan a shot. My husband was very negative and did not think we were going to be able to drive away...about 30 minutes after arriving, his thoughts were changed. From the moment we walked across the parking lot and met Chris M., not knowing he would be our salesperson, we met with Brad the floor manager, who introduced us to Chris as our salesperson. The first thing Chris did was takes us on a tour of the customer areas at Nissan...amazing!!!! This is by far, the most beautiful and well kept dealership I have ever been in. We sat down with Chris who listened intently to our needs, our wants, and our goals. Chris went through the necessary process of entering in our information and taking it to his finance manager...now this is where it all went uphill!!!! Chris was already outstanding as far as listening and then conveying our needs, wants and goals to his finance manager, but THEN, when the finance manager Ernest Danson, personally came and spoke with us, we were blown away. Not just because he came and spoke with us, he genuinely cared about our wants, our needs and our goals. He took the time to listen to us and then to give us some real insight into our goals. He cared and we could tell. After going through his process, Chris was able to show us our potential vehicle, and let me tell you, these sales people know their products!!!!! Before we were even giving the keys, Chris told us everything we needed to know (more my husband then me) about the engine and the new features the 2015 Nissan Rogue had to offer!! After test driving...we were sold, we continued through the process, and met Mike G who continued the superb customer service, as well as Amy who took the time to go over the features of the car with us, before we drove off. When I say this team at Nissan of Newnan is the BEST I ever encountered, seeing it is only living it. GO down to Nissan of Newnan, I will drive an hour again, this is the ONLY place I will ever buy a car from again!!!! Thank you team!!!!!
