Simple, straight-forward service

It's been 13 years since I bought my last car (my beloved Honda Element), so I was expecting the old, "dreaded" car-buying experience. I was pleasantly surprised! I was given great prices without having to play games. I checked prices at a couple other dealerships and had to "work" a lot harder to get answers and prices - no wonder the other dealerships had more of last year's models left. As a female, I greatly appreciated that everyone at Milton Martin talked directly to me about my new car and never once tried to talk to my husband instead. In past experiences at other dealerships, salesmen would always point out features like the vanity mirror on the passenger side instead of dashboard functions. Overall, a relatively pleasant experience and I feel confident I not only got a fair deal on a safe car, but that I'm covered with by a reasonably priced extended warranty and gap insurance. (FYI: my husband is going to drive my 13-year-old Element and sell his Mustang - the Honda is much more reliable and easier to maintain.)

Trading for a 2017 Civic

Prior to dealing with Milton Martin Honda, I had only bought new cars from a dealer twice in my life. This is our fourth new Honda from Milton Martin. We bought our first Honda from Jonathan McKay when he was a salesman over fifteen years ago. Jonathon is in charge of sales now, but we always touch base with him when we come to trade. He has always given us a good deal, with no pressure or complications. I print off a sheet from the internet with the model, trim, color, and desired add-ons, and just ask what he will do. So, far he has consistently beaten any other Honda dealers. Trust me when I tell you I'm pretty much an old Southern boy. If I don't like the way you treat me, I just don't come back. Now, Jonathon has to put us with one of his salesmen, which I understand. This time it was Greg Martin. He did a very nice job. For example, I am funy about "dealer stickers". Honda pays designers a lot of money to place the chrome name plates in an athesthic arrangement on a vehicle, and I don't want to dealer to slap a 25 cent sticker on the back on my new car. You want to put a tag frame with the dealers name, fine. But, please no stickers. Didn't have to ask Greg twice. I prefer to spend money locally to support local businesses, but it is doubley satisfying when local businesses give me a good deal. Assuming I'm still alive and driving when I wear this one out, I'll be back.

We were helping a less fortunate student purchase a car so she could get back and fourth to work. She saved 2 k and we gave her 2k and looked everywhere for a used car in her price range and found nothing. We started looking at dealers and had a good experience at Milton Martin Toyota and when we found a 2012 Ford Focus at Milton Martin Honda we were looking forward to another great experience, I was wrong! The asking price was $9700 so we asked if he could reduce the price a little - he went back to his manager and after making us wait 10 minutes he said there was no wiggle room in the price. What dealer can't give any kind of break on a car?! So we took it home and worked with the student and decided with 4K down and my credit rating the 2.9 finance rate and with the low loan amount she could handle the payments. When we went back to purchase the car I asked the salesman if he could negotiate a couple gas vouchers since they couldn't budge on the price, he said he would check. After we finished all the paperwork I asked for the vouchers and the salesman said " I wish you would have asked earlier." I was astounded as he made no effort to get up and ask for one or two. So I asked if he could at least fill the tank since it only had a 1/4 of a tank, he said sure, detail can do that when they clean up the car. Well we got the car and it only had 3/4s of a tank of gas!!! Putting an extra $20 in the gas tank would have saved this dealer from a bad review. And the salesman also said he was going to check with the prior owner for a key and that was 2 weeks ago and I still have heard nothing back. ( keys are $224) I then went to the website where it says to contact them by email and it will go directly to the manger Butch Miller and he will respond "quickly" that was last week and I still haven't heard anything. I am sorry but when my youngest needs a car next year, we probably will not be visiting Milton Martin Honda.

I told the salesman in an e-mail the exact car that I wanted and the additional items. He bid on the car with an outstanding price. I ask him to throw in two additional small items which he, after checking with the manager, agreed to do. When I arrived to view the car and close the deal he had added a third item that I had not even asked for. The salesman was absolutely great to work with and we are exceedingly happy with our new vehicle. It is a very smooth riding and driving automobile.

My experience was exceptional, because my salesman (Gary Smith) is exceptional. I totaled my 2014 Honda Accord while on vacation. I immediately called my MM Honda salesman to help with some of the problems. He helped me greatly. Upon arriving back home, I phoned him to thank him & to tell him what type of vehicle I was interested in & with what color, options, etc. He found the exact vehicle I wanted down to the letter! He's the reason I keep coming back to MM Honda.

Excellent, exceptional, wonderful experience! I'm grateful to have had Brian Whalen and Ms. Audra work with and for me on getting me into a reliable vehicle. Before I made the decision to buy from Milton Martin Honda, I visited few dealers to get the best price. I was given substantially higher prices, the sales person playing the back and forth to the manager game. When I called Milton Martin, telling what I'm looking for, they emailed me a quote shortly, beating everybody's price. I went there and bought the car, everything went very smoothly. I do appreciate the professionalism and honesty they're operating the business. My wife and I are enjoying the beautiful Honda Accord, thank you, Adi

About a month ago I purchased a brand new Kia Soul- my first ever new car purchase and the process was stressful to say the least. Unfortunately I ended up in an auto accident that totaled that new car. About two weeks after my accident, I requested a quote for a new Honda HR-V through Milton Martin- the car I had test driven before deciding on the Soul. Jameson Foote contacted me immediately and let me know about the recent UNG grad program. I just wanted to let you know that Jameson was such a blessing that day. He got everything in order over the phone and was so prepared that I was able to go in after work and spend less than thirty minutes at your dealership before I had the keys to the car I had requested. Everyone that helped me there just made the whole process such a pleasure. Joe Whatley, Tim Autry, and Jameson Foote were some of the nicest people I've met. Best car buying experience I've had to date! No pressure and they put me in the car I wanted at the price I wanted! David H. was very transparent and straight forward, he got us the deal without all the usual back and forth and the "oh let me go talk to my manager"! Will be back to buy my next car.
