Worst Dealer I've Been To

onI know a lot about cars and dealerships. I went to Rick Case instead of my usual dealership because of an odd set of circumstances. They were the worst in the service department I have ever been to. My other main dealership is great. They over charged me and lied about the service done and pricing. When I contacted the manager they continued to lie. What they said didn't even make logical sense. Please do not go to any of the Rick Case departments! Please!

Misleading and Condescending to Women

onGiving three stars because some of the service techs here are awesome and helpful and kind, and genuinely doing right by their customers. However, many of them are straight up disrespectful and condescending to women (both customers and their fellow employees). Also, they will mislead you about what is covered under your service warranty and when, to get you to pay more for service. Double-check everything they tell you, if you can.

onOrlando was extremely helpful the day of my service. He made sure all the details were correct, followed up on progress, and let me know the car was repaired the same day. All services were covered under the manufacturer warranty! I loved that I could schedule my appt online and received reminder emails.

Hyundai to the rescue

onMatt from the service team went the extra mile to help me get my 2018 Sonata after the car had a cylinder issue which literally caused my car to vibrate and skip as I tried to drive it. With service appointments out close to a month, Matt agreed to let me leave my car with him to see what he could do. Within the week, the problems were identified and fixed. I am very grateful for the great service and support from Matt and the entire Rick Case Hyundai service team. Matt and the team came to my rescue. Thank you all very much!

Dishonest

onI purchased a GV80 prestige in 2022. One of the selling points was the valet service. Upon my first need for the service I was told by the service department that this service was no longer an option. I don’t live or work near the dealership and it is a hassle for me to have to drive there for services. I was also told that I cannot make an appointment for an oil change and that I should arrive before they open to get ahead of other customers. Recently the Genesis was taken in for an oil change and because there was a 4 hour wait, I had to take and Uber back home. I endes up paying for something that I was told would be free. The service department is aware that the check engine light was on but stated that I couldn’t an appointment until August 16th. I guess I will have a rent a car because of course, there are no courtesy vehicles. The Genesis GV80 is marketed as a luxury vehicle and definitely priced as one but the service doesn’t match.
