Rude Behavior By Management at Dublin Chevy Dealership
Written by 09/02/2013
onI stopped by the Dublin Chevy GM dealers showroom on Monday August 26th about 1020 AM.
I travel to the Dublin VA Hospital on a regular basis, so I was in the area.
I walked in and stopped at the reception desk right inside the main door.
I waited and waited for someone to come up and see me.
Finally a man walked by and I told him I would like to get a booklet on the 2014 Silverado.
He said he knew there was some there some place and went to find me one.
After handing the booklet to me he was called over by a man who I assume was the sales manager, based on how he was acting.
He was sitting at his desk feeding his face.
He talked to the sales person, and although I could not hear it all was blessing the sales man out for getting me a booklet.
I did hear him say something about me wearing a hat from Five Star Chevrolet in Warner Robins, but not much more.
The hat I wore was gray in color and matched the shirt I was wearing.
That was the only reason I had on that particular hat.
The sales person came back to me and looked scared to death.
He did give me his card (Bob H.) and he did offer to take me for a ride in a 2014 Silverado. Bob seemed like a decent guy.
I would have taken him up on the offer had it not been for this rude sales manager.
The other guy (sales manager) who scared him is not someone I would want to deal with. That is not a way to treat folks like me who stop in to their place to ask questions.
I just happened to come by the Dublin dealer regularly going to the VA Hospital.
The actions of this sales manager leaves me to not want to deal with a dealer who acts like this.
By the way that is the first dealership that I have stopped at to ask about the 2014 Silverado.
I may buy a new Chevy Silverado before January 2014 but I seriously doubt it will be from this dealership!
