It was so easy and painless to get a new tire. The service rep had everything ready and had it done quickly. This was Saturday I didn't think I could get it fixed but they made it happen.

Great Service Experience

Doesn't follow up after the sale

I bought a 2024 VW Atlas February 10th, 2024. The purchase went smoothly and I was very happy with the service I received at the time. I even left a great review! At signing, I was given a "we owe you" sheet of paper for a bubble in the tint on my driver's side window. I was promised by Amir that I could come in the following Friday for a 1:00 pm appointment with the window tinting guy and have it fixed. I showed up and no appointment was made like I was told it was and the window tinting guy was not there. The following week, Amir was on paternity leave. I was given Phil's contact information to email to set another appointment up to fix my window tint and he never responded to my email. I waited till the next week to try and contact him again; Phil did email me back saying he would make sure 100% that he would get it set up for that Friday. Tuesday of that week I called and emailed to try and verify my appointment and no word back from Phil. I went to the dealership again Friday March 8th at 9:00 am, to see if I could get this resolved and talked with Irnes. He told me the window tinting guy was not there again and that he would personally take care of this and would call me back. Here we are 3/19/2024 and I haven't heard from Irnes, Phil or Amir and my window is still not fixed. After many emails, phone calls, and going to the dealership with no resolve, I have come to the conclusion that this dealership is all about making the sale but could care less about their promises given after the sale is complete. I would be very hesitant to accept a "we owe you" from this dealership as they have proven that they do not stand by their word. I am very disappointed as the sales transaction went very smoothly, but the follow up is hardly to be desired, and could even qualify as fraud. Unhappy Customer, Rebecca Seitz

Worst Car buying experience of my life

I have no complaints with the sales person and the initial purchase experience, but it quickly went down hill from there. A few days after purchasing the car I was able to see the loan under my bank account and noticed that my down payment had not been included (which was a significant amount). In essence the dealership received a check from the bank for the amount before my down payment. I immediately called the dealership and was promised it would be taken care of within a few days. Long story short, after many phone calls to the financial manager and the general manager, lots of lip service and straight up lies, it took 45 days to resolve. Here is the second part to this story which unfortunately is all true. Part of the purchase agreement was to repair three small punctures in the driver’s seat cushion. The car has been taken in twice to get this repaired and each time only after a few days the repair product has rubbed off on my clothing exposing the punctures. This was never resolved. Another issue was my registration was not transferred to the state. I called the county after 30 days and they had not received anything from the dealership. I called the dealership and they said it was overlooked. It took them another two weeks to call me back regarding the registration.

I have never had such a hard time paying full list for a car in my life! No good communication, no wire instructions, no overnight of docs to sign. I paid for delivery by truck and it was drove delivered. Came with bed cover that was not installed. It was supposed to have cover for removeable tops that did not arrive with car and were not part of the deal apparently.

My service write Trey knew a lot about VWs and GTIs specifically. He did a great job explaining what had already been fixed and what is coming up. I ended up buying the car.

Of course, the actual sale went smooth on 10/20/2023 but within the first 3-4 days I noticed that the vehicle had some issues. One in particular that stood out, was the fact that whenever I turn on the heat or the defrost, the cabin of the vehicle quickly fills up with strong gasoline fumes🥴 Also, while the heat/defrost are on if one were to stand outside of the car or even walk up on it, they too could smell the strong scent of gasoline around the vehicle. ⚠️This is definitely not normal! FIRST ATTEMPT: I brought the vehicle back to the dealership six days after my purchase only for several guys to stand around it and one in particular being the service manager Sean, who with a straight face told me that, “This was something normal, and that I needed to turn on the “air recycle” ♻️ button so that the fumes wouldn’t engulf the cabin”. Seriously! He never once actually took the vehicle to be looked at by any of the mechanics in the service department. And I later found out that they received the vehicle roughly around October 13th and I purchased it seven days later on the 20th; which makes me wonder if it was properly inspected at all. I now know for a fact it wasn’t detailed cleaned before I got it ( whole other story)🤦🏽‍♀️ so who’s to say, they actually went over the vehicle and gave it a full mechanical inspection. SECOND ATTEMPT: Last week starting Monday, November 27 I called the service department each day for the following three days and left a message for the service manager Sean in hopes that I could speak to him about scheduling some type of diagnostic. NONE OF MY CALLS WERE RETURNED. THIRD ATTEMPT: I’ve since scheduled a diagnostic appointment with the vehicle’s brand at a separate dealership outside of AutoNation looking for an unbiased opinion of what is causing the gasoline fumes to blow into the car. My only problem now is that this diagnostic is gonna cost me $255 per hour and I don’t think I should be the one paying for it🤔 One thing for sure and two things for certain I know that the company I’m finance with has documentation of this concern and if I need to give them a call and tell them to cancel the financing I’m sure it won’t be a problem. All I’m asking for is some integrity and some assistance from AutoNation Volkswagen in Buford Georgia.

VW Atlas Purchase not easy

Saw a VW Atlas on dealer website and clicked on it to get price. Was contacted by a Sales agent who set up a time for me to come see the car. When I arrived at that appointment, I was told the car I came to see had been sold. No one contacted me to tell me that before making the 45-minute drive to the dealership. I found another car of interest that was not listed in the dealer inventory and took the test drive. The car drove great but smelled terrible! I asked to see the Carfax report to see what the history was but was given a sheet saying everything was checked out and certified. Run around - I should have walked away, but I really liked the car and knew from my internet search that the 2023 Navy Blue VW Atlas was very hard to find. I was told it would be detailed and ionized to remove the smell while I left to go to the bank to get the money. I returned 3 hours later and spent close to an hour waiting on the finance person to finalize the paperwork. Finance person was young and unprofessional with pants below his waist, talked on the phone while I signed papers, etc. Finally got the paperwork done and went to get my car, and it had not been cleaned at all or ionized for the smell. I told the salesperson who said she was sorry and would take it back, but I would have to wait. I agreed to wait. About 30 minutes later she comes back, and she had personally wiped down one surface I mentioned, but it was not detailed or ionized. After 5 hours, I left unhappy. I called and was told the reason for the dirty car was that the detail manager wasn't in. Why I wasn't told that upfront, I don't know. Had to bring the car back for the detailing and ionization process. Was told they wanted to make it right, but when the dealership is so far away - what a pain to go again! Love my VW Atlas but was not impressed with the level of professionalism I experienced. I had purchased another VW from the same dealership in 2013, so was expecting much more.
