FANTASTIC SALES AND SERVICE!

As a transplant I have been bringing my F150 to Shannon in service for several years. I am retired from a Ford dealership after 29 years including as a sales manager up north and was considering a new Explorer and was going to either order or purchase my new vehicle there. Since I wanted to test drive one first I went in and explained to the General Sales Manager Jared Gay the what I wanted to do and that I was most likely NOT going to do business with him. He hooked me up with Jonathan Dyar. Jonathan went ABOVE and BEYOND knowing he probably was not going to get a sale. My wife liked the way we were treated and after I got what I could expect on a deal from up north we went back to see Jonathan and Jared. Without knowing what a was working from but figuring they would have to have a very sharp pencil, THEY BEAT WHAT I HAD! not only did they neat it but considering the expense to travel north they beat my deal up north. Having done both retail and commercial Finance, Aaron Newcomb in Finance had products and options laid out, listened to what I did and didn't want and answered all my questions when I asked for a comparison between the MasterTech Extended Warranty they offered me and Ford's Preferred Care Warranty. I went with the MasterTech warranty. Over the years my dealerships received 9 Chairman's or President's (including 5 in a row including 2 Elite Awards) so I know how important taking care of the customer is. Gerald Jones just received their second in a row President's Award and I would say they are on their way to a third award. EXTREMELY WELL DONE!

Maintaining my vehicle

I had an appointment on 2/24/23 with Gerald Jones Ford. This service appointment was for an oil change and a four wheel alignment on my 2019 Ranger. When I pulled into the service bay, I was greeted by Mr. Freddie Parker. Mr. Parker pulled up my appointment on the computer and we walked around the car discussing the scheduled service. After checking the mileage, Mr. Parker informed me that I had a 40k mile service due which included the oil change. I was unaware of the 40k ,ill service, and ai really appreciate Mr. Parker identifying the service that needed to be performed. He also noticed that I had a spare tire on the truck. He recommended that I not have the alignment performed until the normal wheel/tire had been reinstalled on the truck. He asked me to give him a call when that was taken care of and he would get me scheduled for the alignment. Mr. Parker was incredibly helpful, and made my day a little brighter. I will always use Gerald Jones Ford for my service needs and will be calling Mr. Parker whenever I need service on my vehicles.

Freddie was a sweetheart and provided such an amazing experience. He was polite and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions without hesitation. There was ZERO wait time. I arrived and was promptly taken care of. He told me my car would be ready in 1.5 hrs, and it was.

Top notch service!

My service writer was extremely helpful and courteous. I had only scheduled an oil change, but he explained the additional recommended services for the 30k mile service interval. He made sure that I had a good understanding of what they would be doing, and closed out the appointment by letting me know exactly what had been done, as well of the things that my vehicle did not need at this time (cabin air filter).

Very Helpful Salesman

I liked that I was able to find out about the available vehicles online. I was able to view pictures of the outside and inside of the vehicle I chose as well as read about all the specs. After choosing my vehicle online on Sunday, I received a call from Jonathan on Monday. We set up an appointment for that afternoon, and I drove home in my new vehicle. Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and shared that knowledge freely.

Amazing Customer Service

I contacted Josh on Thursday 3/24/2022 and made an appointment and met with him that Friday 3/24/2022. He sent options on Thursday and he was not pushy or overwhelming. He got the information of what we wanted and he delivered outstanding customer service. He was quick and very very patient and friendly. I was late and gave him a call and he was very nice about it and still gave outstanding customer service. We need more people like Josh in the world. I had my granddaughter with me so I love the fact that they had a play area for her as well.

Excellent experience. Early birds can get early morning service appointments starting at 7 am. Beautiful showroom and customer lounge. Paperwork has everything listed that the dealership checked or worked on. All questions answered. Everything fixed that needed fixing!

Panic on a Monday / holiday

I came in on Monday right before lunch. Marcus Brighthop was very nice and helpful even though I was in a bit of a panic. I live in Savannah and had to be home to go to work the following day. Great Dealer

We always have great service with Gerald Jones Ford in Augusta. Shannon always takes great care of us and makes sure we get out in a timely manner. The only problem is no shuttle service to the mall. We had a car reserved and it was gone when we got there. Also they discontinued the military discount. Augusta is a military town with Ft. Gordon right there.

About our dealership

Gerald Jones opened his first automotive dealership in 1974. Since then, the auto group has grown by six stores and is now owned and operated by Andy Jones, the founder's son. In February of 2016, the Jones family was excited to announce the acquisition of the new Ford Lincoln store; increasing the Gerald Jones Auto Group offerings to now include domestic vehicles.
