Always friendly and straightforward customer care. They do what they say and don’t surprise you after the fact. I have always had a good experience and I drive an hour and a half to get there. Rubi in the service department was tremendous!

Terry guided us through the ordering process. He was always availble to answer questions. He did not try to persuade us towards something we would not be happy with like an EV. He had the X5 ready when we arrived at the dealership. Athens BMW gave us a fair and reasonable trade in price. We completed the deal and drove home in our New BMW. Terry called us the next day to check on use and the New Car Experience and advised us he is there for us! He is Knowledgeable, Courteous and Professional, Yes, Terry is the Greatest!

Service advisor, Rubi, was great to work with. Quickly arranged appointment time, and tire was in stock, to replace a road hazard damaged tire. Car was ready soon thereafter.

Best service department ever. Every time you call, you get to actually speak to a service advisor. I had a coolant leak and I was able to get in the next day. The service advisors are very friendly and actually care about you and your car.

Athens BMW provided me with a loaner without prior noticevery unexpected. They were very nice and pleasant. At pick up time, they had a bit of a customer bottleneck, and this held me up.

This was my fifth car purchase, four of which have been BMWs--one that was purchased from an independent dealer and two that were purchased from another BMW dealer in New Jersey, where I'm a preferred customer. However, since relocating from New York to Georgia three years ago, I'd settled on another BMW dealership in the Atlanta area for service, and I assumed that I would purchase or lease my next BMW from them. Athens BMW came to my attention by way of the Perks at Work discount program. When I filled out the form to find out what dealers in my area honored the discount, I was referred to Athens BMW. Alex contacted me in follow-up to my inquiry, and we discussed what I was looking for, as well as current incentives. In follow-up to our conversation, I sent him the details on the car I was driving and a couple of vehicles that I found on the Athens BMW website that I was interested in. When I visited the dealership in person, Alex and Justin were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. More importantly, they were attentive and responsive to my needs. The finance portion of my purchase experience, handled by Christina, was very smooth, swift and efficient with no surprises! Well there was one surprise--my payment was lower than expected because Justin was able to secure more for my trade-in than initially quoted! The Athens BMW team doesn't have to say how much they value customers, they demonstrate it by their actions and value-add services like Warranty Forever and service loaner valet drop-off and pick-up. When the time comes for my next BMW purchase or lease, I will absolutely return to Athens BMW as well as recommend them to friends and family.

Athens BMW's service department is exceptional when it comes to customer service. They always go above and beyond what is needed and always take care of their customers. Especially their service advisor Matthew, who I have the pleasure of dealing with every time I bring my car over. He's very thorough and responsive. He makes sure all work is done in an efficient and timely manner. Athens BMW is one of the reasons I own two BMWs and will continue to stay with the brand.

Avoid at all cost

I was very unfortunate to have serpentine belt snapped in Athens, GA. My 5-series got towed to Athens BMW. 4 days and $2,500 later they found and fixed two minor oil leaks. Even though full oil service was performed as a part of this repair just one week later I got a low oil level warning. At this point I took my car to an Atlanta based BMW dealer for diagnostic and was quoted a hefty $3,800 to fix crankshaft seal. It was pretty much completely stripped by the thorn serpentine belt. Atlanta dealer specifically mentioned two things: 1) The seal typically gets stripped when the belt goes in this fashion. 2) Dealer must do a road test after this type of repair. The service statement I got from Athens has mileage in and out identical. Service consultant confirmed the test was performed on the lift. The Atlanta dealer explained specifically that without the load oil compartment has vacuum and pulls the air in through the seal. This makes it impossible to identify leaks. Only doing the proper road test creates pressure to push oil out and make identifying a leak possible. Basically, because Athens BMW missed this problem I was driving a full week without the seal and my engine block full of serpentine belt pieces.

We were looking for a used vehicle for our teen daughter. She fell in love with a car at Athens BMW, and the folks were so helpful. We kept looking...online, in Atlanta...and ultimately came back to Athens BMW. All the people were wonderful - I would recommend anyone looking for a new or pre-owned vehicle start here!

Easiest car buying ever!

Terry Hosier was great. Almost all negotiations were handled over the phone and internet. We are from SC, but found the experience of this dealership preferable to tho one closer to home. The customer service has been exceptional and they offered the best deal. We chose the plant pickup, which was a fun experience! Very pleased and highly recommend!
