New Chevy Truck 2021

onI have been buying vehicles from Ferman of Tarpon for over 25 years. Once again, they made my day with the deal on my new 2021 Diesel truck. The salesman and sales manger did me right. Ferman of Tarpon also has an Excellent Warranty and Repair shop, with a very knowledgeable staff. I like to thank my salesman , Anibal "Vargas" Vargas and his sales manager Todd Ullestad. onI went in for a Spark and the sales guy Franco was great. I was ready to buy the car. Being self employed I needed a different proof of income then a W2 or pay stub. After 3 trips to the dealer they could not verify my correct income after I got irritated the finance guy yelled at me over the phone ( don't call us we will call you) so I went to another dealer and got approved for the same car in 45 minutes. 3 stars for the sales guy nothing more. I have never been treated so rude.

onThis salesperson (Sarah S.) persisted in finding me the exact car (a very special set of requirements) I wanted, and at a very good price, when every other dealer in the area failed. I am very happy with the considerate and kind treatment. I am a repeat customer to this dealer and this salesperson, for this good reason.

onThey knew I was a BOWTIE guy and the car was perfect. No B S great price for a 'cherry' they knew I liked CHEVY so I was probably an easy sell. But my salesman knew his chevy's and I was treated great. Big dealerships can be a challenge but my CUMMINS experiense gives me a good foundation. Most people treat thier vette's like family, very few are beat. Certified chevy means alot to me, I extended the warranty another 4 years and the car will never see 48,000 miles with the short miles I drive. The premium alloy wheels and run-flat tires demand it and all cars loaded with computer controled 'stuff' makes me worry I am anold diesel tech and what is under the hood might as well be the Space Shuttle'.

terrible customer service & not strustworthy

onI bought a brand new malibu @ stingray 12/10/12. When i was ready for my first oil change, i chose ferman because its between my home & my work. I put less then 500 miles per month on this car & keep it in perfect condition. I told the female service advisor, that i had a dealership in the past put a ding in a new car & that this Malibu had no scratches or damage & to please be careful. she said with attitude " oh, i guess i have to do a walk around" needless to say after leaving i was never going to go back. yesterday i could not get the back window to go up. it was 2pm & I would not have been able get to another open service dept. I called ferman, spoke with mark & explained this was a bit of an emergency & if they could just get the window up, i would schedule the repair with them for another day. I got to them in 20 min, explained again how important it was to get this window up. I went into the waiting area & sat & listened to a bunch of 10-12yo boys from across the hall, saying every profanity you can imagine. there is no doubt, veryone in that building heard this, but the 10-15 employees I saw did nothing! the dealership is old, & dirty! After 40 min he had the car pulled up. he was telling me it needs a new regulator & they could do it next tue. the window was still down! I asked about it & he said they could not get it up & they would keep the car until tue. I said no & he said what are you going to do. I said get someone to take care of it. I asked if i needed to sign something & he said "no the tickets still open & you should leave the car here...what if it rains?" I left & called Dimmitt Chevy & explained the situation. first of all, they told me that if you take the panel off, you can put the window up manually. I was furious! I felt like they were trying to make me keep the car there, so they could get the window work, along with a remote start repair, oil change & tire rotation (all things i told him needed to be done)..It was to late to get down to dimmitt, so i just went ahead & scheduled all of the service needed with them. I am not an idiot or a extremely difficult customer, but something is not right @ this dealership & im really surprised that anyone would be loyal to them...terrible customer service & as far as im concerned, shady business practice!

onI bought a 2007 chevy aveo 5 from Ferman on October 12. I was in and out of dealership in less than 2 hours. They were courteous, my salesman Tom was friendly but not overbearing, I got the price I wanted, and overall it was a very positive car buying experience.
