This is my first new vehicle in over 25 years, and I must say that I am very pleased with Proctor Honda. I went to two other dealers before I went to Proctor. What a difference! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful.

We recently had to purchase another vehicle when my husband's truck was no longer worth fixing. I have always appreciated the quality service at Proctor Honda, so it was a no-brainer when considering where to look for a new vehicle. Joe Gagnon was terrific! He asked all of the right questions to ensure that he had what we were looking for in stock, and was very helpful in answering all of our questions. This was the second time I have purchased a vehicle from Proctor Honda, and knowing that I will continue to receive wonderful service from them in the future is highly appreciated and valued. I would recommend Proctor Honda to everyone looking to purchase a used or new vehicle!

My family was looking for a vehicle for my daughter and we eventually settled on a new CR-V as her (and our) first choice. Proctor Honda promptly quoted a price that was very attractive. They had the exact model and color for delivery the same week from the factory and reserved it for us to test drive. Working with them to finalize the deal was excellent. Will buy again from this dealer.

Great Experience

I've purchased two cars from Proctor - a 2007 CRV and a 2013 Civic. Billy P. sold us both cars and he is the best sales professional I've ever dealt with. He's honest, helpful and doesn't put any pressure on you. I highly recommend asking for Billy when you visit this dealership. Although the transaction on our CRV went very smoothly, we were subjected to some flagrant BS from the finance guy when leasing our Civic. This [non-permissible content removed] just inflated figures that were already agreed to beforehand. Fortunately, Billy stepped, got everything straightened out, and even knocked several hundred off our original deal as an apology for the finance guy's shenanigans. We've also had nothing but positive experiences with the service department the few times we dropped off the CRV for routine maintenance. Overall, short of one rogue [non-permissible content removed] who shouldn't be working for such a great dealership, Proctor Honda is aces all around.

LEASED HONDA

The dealership did not offer a rebate or any incentive to lease a 2013 Accord 4 Dr EX. Dealership also would not lower the money factor which is the interest rate of 36 month payment. The dealership stated they could not go below 3% for the money factor. We were disappointed with this part of the sale since it did not use the edmunds figures.

Excellent Experience

I have purchased my last four vehicles from Proctor Honda, and I cannot say enough good things about them. All four cars were used, but each one lasted me a very long time. Billy Pierini is the sales rep I've worked with the most, and I really appreciate his help. He's a no-pressure kind of guy who makes it easy to look around and not get overwhelmed or stressed by the decision-making process. Billy also always takes the time to stop and say hello and make sure the car is still doing well when he sees me in the service department. Beyond all of that, I have to say that the team at Proctor were the biggest help I could have possibly had when my last Accord was totaled when someone ran a red light and hit me. They walked me through the process of what to expect from my insurance company and hers, and they provided me with ample documentation regarding the value of my car to make sure I got fair compensation to replace it. Their knowledge of my car and of the claims process was invaluable. There's not another dealership anywhere that I can imagine purchasing a car from. I trust Proctor to take care of me and ensure that I get a good, fair deal.

Good Sales Experience

My husband had a good experience purchasing a used Civic from Proctor Honda with Sales Associate Dave Saba. So, when it was time for me to get a car, I included Proctor Honda in my search. I got a fair trade for my Toyota Camry, and a good price for a new Honda Fit. There were no high pressure sales techniques, even when I said I still had other dealerships to check. I returned Dave Saba at Honda and have not regretted my choice of vehicles. Love the headroom and cargo capacity of my Fit. Thanks, Proctor Honda!

Not so nice experience

When in need of a vehicle, be careful with this dealer! We were told that we "qualified" for only one model car....a very basic Honda for 18.000 +...but we wanted one they had on the lot that was 15.000. We felt insulted and pushed into a model we didn't like. How dare they try to TELL us what car they wanted us to buy. If we spent that much money on a car, we want something we like. Needless to say they lost that sale and all future sales from us. We went to a Mazda dealer nearby instead and bought a nice Mazda 3. Much better treatment and experience there!!
Another "Hook"

Last week I asked various Honda dealers in the Monticello Florida area for quotes (by email) for a 2008 Honda CRV. Proctor was the lowest bid (but not by much) so I gave them an opportunity to find the same specific CRV that I had previously listed. The salesperson said that they should have the vehicle available for me in about a week for pickup. And then silence for the next several days. In four business days I had only one email from them - and that email was in response to a question that I had emailed to them the day before. If I had not sent that email to them, I would have heard nothing from them for more than 5 business days. On Day 6, I received an email from the salesperson stating that they were still searching for my vehicle and they were just waiting to hear from some other dealerships. I emailed back to Proctor that they had 24 hours to find the vehicle that they had promised ready for ppickup in "about a week". And that if they couldn't find my car by that deadline (a week total), then they should not bother to offer any "substitute" cars. How can a dealership, with today's technology, not be able to locate a specific vehicle model and options within 24 hours? The answer - they never intended to sell me what I asked for, but rather they intended to sell to me a similar "substitute" off their lot. Accepting and committing to their low bid, they knew that I was "handcuffed" to them indefinitely. Fortunately, I had their salesperson email to me that they would have the vehicle ready for pickup in about a week from when I accepted their offer. When that didn't happen, the deal was technically null and void. Honda is a great automobile - if only the people selling them could be as reliable and efficient.

Honda Fit

I spoke over the phone with a sales person to see if they had any 5 speed Honda Fits in stock. He said they had three. We took off work early, drove 80 miles one way, only to find they had two automatic Fits. I was particularly confused with the sales person because I specifically asked about manuals. He offered to order one for us. We were not interested in that because of the great distance. (I used to drive to Tallahassee at least once a month, but gas is way too high now and 80 miles one way is now a great distance.) The sales person did not seem to honestly care about the fact we drove all that way under the word that he had 5 speeds. He claimed that they Fits he had were 5 speed automatics. I don't know what planet 5 speed means automatic. He was a pitiful excuse for a sales person. On top of all that, he left us outside waiting for about thirty minutes while he searched for the keys to the cars. The dealership is quite large and we thought there might be another Fit around that was a manual. He went back in only to take another twenty minutes to see if they had a manual on their campus.
