The Chrysler-Jeep Dealer That Tried Our Patience

by SoCman on 05/06/2021

The process of buying our (2021) Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland was Extremely time consuming: Not just your regular somewhat long-ish process that the dealer puts all of us through, but an absolute watch-busting ordeal involving three (yes, 3) days. These consisted of 2 days on and off the phone with the sales rep and the final day that was a full 12 hours from home to dealer and back home again as well as a 6-hour marathon at the dealership. In the end, after way too much non-productive sitting, we finalized our purchase and trade-in deal and drove away with our new Jeep. In case no one has told you this, there is a shortage of new Jeep vehicles, and this consists mostly of the models that they sell quickly. This is our first Jeep and we are looking forward to several years and long days (our choice) of enjoyment in it.

Very happy!

by Bigsexy on 05/10/2017

We are very pleased with our whole experience. Our salesman Japp was very informative and zero pressure. That's extremely hard to find in a car salesman. We did our homework with pricing and we were very pleased with the deal. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially Japp!

The total experience was smooth and easy. I was never once stressed during the purchase of my new pretty Chrysler 200. Thank you for the great experience. That is why I keep coming back to you.

Awesome!

by amrh on 11/12/2014

After a few days of research online, I went in to test drive one of the cars I was very interested in. Austin was awesome. I had called ahead and the car was out front ready for the test drive. Austin was extremely knowledgeable of the car and was very patient with me as I explored the car. I was sold! Loved the car and the customer service!

Shady at best

by donttreadonme on 04/15/2014

My family and I went to this dealership with a price research from Truecar. The negotiation was fairly easy. I would pay the same amount that a slightly further dealer would give for the car. They gave a low value for my car, but it did need some work. I was not thrilled but accepted it based on everything else. We signed away our car, the financing, and other paperwork. Then the paperwork with the car price needs to be signed. Suddenly the car price is $800 more because of the "dealership fee." Changing on the last page to be signed hoping no one notices is shady. I argued with them and my wife (who easily exhausts from the car buying process) pushed to "just lets get it done" and we bought the car. It will be the last time I purchase from them.

My 300C buying nightmare

by willy741 on 03/17/2014

It took me 4 hours to buy my 300C from these people. When the car was delivered there were black spots all over a white car. There were 2 paint defects and a spider web in the trunk (my wife hates spiders). It looked like it was pulled off the lot and no prep was done at all. This was a nightmare and the service is worse. I don't know how they stay in business.

Good sales, bad finance.

by soonerfanfl on 04/16/2012

My salesman was great. Randy B. was very hands on and I felt he did his very best. I'm a sales director for a company and I would absolutely hire him in a heartbeat if I could. I was not impressed by the finance manager. Extremely rude and pushy. When I questioned about the amount of money we were putting down because it was higher than initially agreed upon, he replied "we're alreayd losing money on this deal". I replied "that' not my problem and if we're going to do this deal this is the amount I'm putting down. If you don't like it, bring my car back up front and we're done with this deal.". He backed off and we went on about our way with a new car. I was actually looking at the 2010 and they were going to have to bring one up from Miami. Apparently that fell thru and the salesman called me at the end of the day and said they were putting me in the 2011 instead. It happened to be the red one I wanted where the 2010 was the blue. Being sales myself, it's hard to please everyone ALL the time in ALL aspects. Honesty is the one thing that, if lost, is hard to regain. I appreciated the hard work my salesman put in and they almost lost the deal because of a dishonest finance manager.

Be Weary

by drandon on 03/03/2010

I bought a used car here. My problem, oops. I love the car but not the dealer. Initially I asked for a car fax. They diverted my attention. I forgot about it. After signing papers and getting keys, I noticed no car fax. I was instructed to download it from thier site. I did. There had been an accident. Also, when got keys noticed cd player didn't work. They paid half for an aftermarket one. A month later, an oil change. Car shop said front lower ball joint very bad, car is unsafe! Can you believe all this? I messaged the dealer, no reply..

Stay away!

by potential_sale on 11/12/2009

This is just about the worst sales experience I've had anywhere. If you don't heed my warning prepare for unbelievably rude and pushy sales managers and ridiculous pricing games. Their ads do that incredibly sleazy thing where they include YOUR money in the "price" of their car. Why not tell me the car is free with my $18,000 cash or trade equity?! When I questioned him about this he told me I "must not be a careful reader" as it said $3,000 of my money in the ad. Guess what, I went home and double checked the ad and it didn't say anything about my cash or trade. They must have forgotten to mention it when I called and asked about the price too. Shocking, right? Be sure you've done your price research ahead of time. I found all of their cars to be literally thousands over the rest of the market. They've also got a $799 dealer fee, be sure you add that to their asking prices. This dealer also doesn't have any special perks for buying from them. Zero warranty, no satisfaction guarantee, no oil changes, no car washes etc. So, where's that $799 going? Their prices are already higher than everyone else's. The positive review on this site is clearly from an employee. Check elsewhere on the net, this dealer is apparently notorious for bad service.

Avoid this dealership like the plague!

by silverblade on 01/18/2009

Beware: This dealership has been caught write fake positive reviews about themselves on vehicle review site. [violative content deleted] Staff Btyan: Nice young salesman. Got to say very little Adam: Sales manager. Did most of the talking. Jim: Designated closer. Lied outright to my wife and I to get the deal. I went to the dealer to look for a specific Jeep that I wanted. I went in with the paperwork for an employee discount and had a car for a trade in that was appraised at other dealerships for $9000 or greater (the pay-off was $8500). After looking around I gave the salesman(Bryan) my paperwork for the discount and explained that I needed it right back because it had personal information that I had written on the back. The salesman brought back his "manager"(Adam) with the offer. I looked at the sheet and explained that I dont have to pay for the destination fee with my EP discount. He said that the destination fee wasnt added. I pointed out the destination fee on the sheet that was $795. He said just to "ignore" that. Over the next few hours I was subjected to a variety of deals. During this time I asked for my paper (with personal info) back no less that 4 times. The "manager" kept misplacng my paper as a ploy to keep me from leaving. Also, The car keys to the car I drove in with always seemed to be missing also. When I finally stood up and demanded my paper back for the 5th time the "sales manager"(Jim) came over and told me I hit the lottery ticket. He stated that he found a buyer for my trade in and would give $13000 for my trade in. With the owed amount of my trade in being $8500, that would be a $4500 credit in my favor when buying the new car. Also, he told me with the $13000 he was giving me for my trade in, it would bring the vehicle payment to where I wanted it. I let myself get more excited than I should have and took the deal. After looking over the paperwork after signing the papers for the vehicle, I noticed that the "sales manager" lied and that I wasnt given $13,000 for the trade in, he only extended that payments to 84 months with an interest rate of 8.8%. (I have a credit rating of 788). I was already so excited about getting the new Jeep that I just kept my mouth shut and left the place. However, after leaving the dealership and thinking about how the manager (later found out was really a designated closer) lied outright to me to get the sale, I just had to come on the forum and warn others about this dealership. When I bought this NEW vehicle I said I wanted the wheels upgraded from the cheesy 16" ones to some nice ones with 18" rims (like the Sahara) along with a hitch and step bar put on the vehicle. Well, after I came back to the dealership to arrange a time for me to get the wheels, bar, and hitch installed they informed me that I was only getting 4 wheels upgraded and not the 16" spare tire. What?????????? I bought a BRAND NEW vehicle and UPGRADED the wheel package and it didnt include the spare!!! Now the spare time that I have on this NEW vehicle doesnt even match the other tires in size! What kind of dealership pulls a dirty trick like this on a client? When you upgrade the wheels on a BRAND NEW package it dang well should include the spare tire that is mounted on the back of the vehicle!!! Now they want me to pay extra if I want to buy a spare tire that is the same size as the tires on my vehicle!!! Note 1: When I asked someone else in the dealership what title Jim held, he told me that Jim was a designated "closer." (not the sales manager that he introduced himself as) Note 2: The floor salesman Bryan was a young kid and very helpful. However, after the test drive he didnt get a chance to speak again because he turned me over to Adam Note 3: My next step will be to contact the BBB and Chamber of Commerce. Then I will seek out other customers who feel that tey were either cheated or lid to by the staff. Here is what made me mad: 1.

Surprised

by aflockofgeeks on 06/17/2008

Haven't bought yet but was very happy with the dealership. All of the guys that I talked to were nice, a little pressure, they brought out a bunch of salesman who were all respectful and professional. This was nothing compared to my experience at the other place I went to today which was a shark tank. They most likely won my business by not being like the other places I've been to, very comfortable and so far the best price too. I'm going to keep shopping for a short while, gotta do my part but I'll be surprised if I don't buy from these guys.
