Lied to and Left With a Dirty Car

Dirty car, terrible customer service. My wife and I were very disappointed with the buying experience and how we were treated afterwards. After telling our salesperson what type of car we were looking for and what price range, he located a 2020 Mazda CX-5. Over the phone, he said there would be no problem getting us a payment of $367/month $0 down, but when we sat down at the dealership to look at numbers, the lowest price he showed us was $420/month $1,000 down. After repeatedly explaining how unprofessional and frustrating it was that he “bait and switched” us, he was able to get the price down to the original number he quoted and admitted “that’s my bad. I [non-permissible content removed] up.” We ended up purchasing the vehicle, but weren’t able to test drive it as it just recently came into the dealership. We were taken back into the service area and only were able to see it on a lift while it was inspected by the service team. We were told the vehicle would be ready in 2 days after being inspected and detailed. When we received the vehicle, the outside was clean, but the inside had numerous areas that hadn’t been cleaned. We called the dealership and noted how dirty the inside was. They agreed to detail the vehicle again and offered a $50 Visa gift card for our inconvenience. After bringing the vehicle in and waiting another 2 days, we were notified the vehicle was ready for pickup. The inside of the vehicle still had numerous stains on the roof, seats and headrests. Additionally, we’ve still yet to receive the gift card that we were promised. My wife and I have purchased vehicles from 6 dealerships and have never received a car in such poor condition, and received such negative customer service before.

Jenkins Mazda Played Me

Dishonest, [non-permissible content removed], great at playing bait and switch for more money. They are pros at taking $30K for a car that did not exists, even though they gave me a sales sheet with vin info, pictures and listed on their website. They knew I did not have transportation, I waited two hours for pick up, I finally called, “the car was sold a month ago” now Jenkins Auto group has 20 dealerships and has no accurate inventory?? Bottom line they took (tried) to take advantage of a female senior citizen. The kicker, they can give the SE model for additional $2500!

Scott and Nikki were outstanding. Scott was very thorough and knowledgeable. It took me a few weeks to do the deal as I was torturing myself either to buy or not to buy but in the end I made the right decision. Nikki was fantastic in finance and save me money on financing.

My overall experience was GREAT.. Don Hallgren is a GREAT sales Person who I would recommend without issue!!! The Process was a little long , but that's Car Buying. The Down Payment process and finance office trip was FLAWLESS on Friday when I purchased my car. The deal howevr didn't go thru because of lateness on Friday... On monday I went back to sign title work and was informed of a request by the "LENDER" for an additional down payment of $1500.00 before the FINANCING could be completed. After some back and forth with myself , my finance officer and a sales manager the deal was revamped and financing went through. OVERALL the process went well....

I had a wonderful experience at Jenkins Mazda! The sales reps were very accommodating (Sher and Scott), Linda the receptionist went out of her way to make my wait pleasant. All the employees greeted me and we're friendly offering conversation. When I had to bring the car back, the service department was right on top of it. I would also like to praise the staff for teaching me all the electronics.

The first sales person I encountered was very helpful & stayed in contact throughout the deal. When he had to be away, the next available rep was even more considerate & helpful.
