Deceptive Sales Practices

I purchased a 2013 Chevy Cruze LTZ on 6/9/17. I had stated when I called before looking at the car that I was interested in Certified cars, when shopping verified that the car could come with a 3 year warranty like the one I had when I had purchased my previous Cruze brand new. When picking up the car they said they could only do a 2 year bumper to bumper which I agreed to. On 6/12/17 I had trouble accelerating and the check engine light came on, I scheduled an appointment with my local chevy dealer. On 6/13/17 I was showing my new car to someone who noticed that a piece of panel wasn't correctly attached an upon crawling down found the frame underneath had been bent and a new panel had just been placed on top, which I called my sales rep about for repairs and she said I would need to go back to the original dealership (they know I live 3 hours away). Today I went to the local Chevy and found out that I do not have the bumper to bumper warranty and the issue with he oil intake which prevents my car from accelerating reliably is not covered. I contacted Blasius to correct the error in my warranty and they refused and told me I need to bring my car back down there for repairs and that they will not accept any returns even within 7 days.

I was very pleased with the service at Blasius Chevrolet. The sales staff was more than accommodating and willing to help in anyway possible. Iv been in the market for a truck and had several horrible experiences at other dealerships. Blasius was by far the most friendly and pleasant to deal with. Very pleased with my experience and will definitely return to purchase another vehicle. Salesmen Michael Malagutti was very professional and made the process easy and pain free.

I have purchased many cars during my life but purchasing experience in Blasius Chevrolet was the best. I have used AMEX auto program to get the best price certificate. AMEX has given me another dealership (not Blasius). But the dealership did not honour the price. After that I came to Blasius Chevrolet with the price certificate. The negotiation took about 10 minutes. They gave exact price that was shown on the certificate. I have got everything that I wanted: the price, an exact car, color and options. No any pressure from sales person, Bob Palmer. He was very good person to deal with. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Whole purchasing process from start to the end took about 45 minutes. Two days later after signing the deal I was driving a car of my dream Chevy Cruze Diesel. If you think about purchasing Chevy or Cadillac, start with this dealership first. Andrew.

What a great experience. Mike Silver was prompt in responding to all questions. Vinny on finance worked with us without any hard sell. Picked out the car. Went back two days later to sign paperwork. Everything was ready and signing was quick. We spent much more time going over the car's features with Mike than we did signing in the finance office. Will definitely go back again.

2011 Chevy Cruze

I was in the market for a quality used car for my son. We searched every make and model imaginable but we kept going back to the Chevy Cruze. We looked at dealers all throughout the greater New Haven area and beyond and finally ended up at Blasius. I reached out to Mike S via their website and it proved to be worth our while to travel out to Waterbury and see what they had on the lot. Mike is professional and a pleasure to deal with. He took the time to show us around and didn't cut the test drive short like other dealers did. He answered all our questions and never pressured us at any time. Chris M in Finance was courteous and thorough and made the financing a breeze. I have told several friends and family that are in the car market that Blasius is worth a trip and I wouldn't hesitate to go back there when another car is in our plans. The entire experience was a pleasant change from what many dealers put the car buyer through. 5 stars for Blasius, Mike S and Chris M.

The ABSOLUTE worst dealership I've EVER dealt with in my LIFE. In literally just 3 months of purchasing our car from Blasius there service department forgot to put the oil cap back on my car after a simple oil change which caused several electrical and engine problems 3 DIFFERENT TIMES in ONE MONTH. Then they agreed to trade in our car due to their technician's CARELESS "mistake" and were forcing us to take a car in really BAD shape and with 20K more miles than the car we originally owned!!!! On top of ALL this there guaranteed financier DARRELL N discriminated against myself, my wife, 2 year daughter and 8 year son because of our race in front of other employees and customers. He also threaten to get me arrested for driving a rental back home with my kids and wife that THE DEALERSHIP AGREED to cover until we find a replacement, he threaten to report the rental stolen and TOLD US to walk home in the rain. This forced us to call the police just so we can leave the dealership in one peace without any problems. Then MR DARRELL N decided to tell the officer that my wife is NEVER ALLOWED on the property or she will be arrested!!!! This is just BAD SERVICE, we've purchased 2 cars from Blasius and its been NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS from DAY 1. They treated us like PURE ANIMALS and all we wanted was some justice for something they obviously are 150% at fault. DARRELL N after all of the threats decided to provoke us to take LEGAL ACTION and claimed that we will NEVER WIN in court not in a "million years". DON'T PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP OR TRUST THERE SERVICE DPT!!! The end result of all this was Blasius giving us back the car that there technician originally messed up which we are NOT SAFE driving!!! Take my word there are hundreds of other dealerships in CT that are 50 times better then Blasius Chevrolet!!!

Biggest and best Chevrolet dealership

This dealership is like the Home Depot of cars. They have a great selection with great pricing. They price to move as we learned. My wife was there on a Monday and picked out two 2014 preowned cars and by the time I got out of work Friday, they were both gone. Dan Barolli along with his brother Bob ended up selling us a brand new warrantee vehicle for a little bit more. They should name this place Loehmann Barolli Chevrolet. Great job. I will definitely be back for future vehicles.

Danielle G., Internet Sales Manager, made me feel as though I was dealing with a friend. Gary S., Finance Manager, listened to my needs and found approaches for us to meet those needs. I am a long time customer of Blasius Chevrolet starting when I was 19 and bought my 2003 Silverado from Chris M.. Fast forward several years and a few cars later and I am now only just breaking in my 2014 Cruze which was sold to me by Chriss son Bryan. I was in the market for a fuel efficient car, but wasnt completely sure which model I wanted. Bryan took an entire Saturday afternoon to show me quite a few different options. We went on test drives, ran the numbers and then looked some more. I left that day with 3 solid choices in mind. Monday morning, Chris called me to go over financing options. I decided the 2014 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ was the car for me and drove up after work to pick it up. Whenever I am in the market for a new car, I always start at Blasius. At no time during conversations with Bryan did I ever feel pressured, rushed, or unimportant. He was very attentive, listened and understood. I believe he was able to help get me the best deal possible. Chris explained the financing to me and got me a very low interest rate. My family members are all currently in Blasius vehicles and when they are due for an upgrade, Im sure they wont think twice about making the trip to Waterbury.

I went to Blasius to explore buying a new Silverado. I dealt with Danielle and my experience with her was fantastic. She was low key and non scripted when talking with me about the vehicles. There was no pressure or gamesmanship on her part and she took all of the time required to help me out. There were great cash back bonuses on the 2013 trucks, and they had the particular model that I was interested in, so it was an easy decision to make my purchase there. The follow up from Danielle and Mr Blasius after my purchase has been nice to see and seems like a practice of the past. It was great doing business where I felt like I was respected.

2500 hd diesel truck

I never bought a new truck before and started looking a few months ago, I wasn't happy with any of the dealers in my area but a friend suggested I go to Lohmen and I contacted the sales member, Danielle G., and she was very helpful and honest. I went and met with her and looked at a truck thats hard to find that I liked and ended up buying it, I love it and just wish I went to Lohmen in the 1st place, thanks again to the staff at Lohmen and Danielle G.....Brett Cooke

I have never been able to purchase from the first dealer I have connected with. In this case I can report a happy exception. I contacted the dealer through their website. I immediately received a reply and quotes on suggested vehicles. Danielle worked with me without applying any pressure at all through numerous questions and as I dealt with whether or not to spend the money. I received a very fair sight unseen quote on my trade. When I finally went to drive the car, again no pressure was applied. When I suggested the price could be a little more attractive, the price on the trade-in, now viewed by the dealer actually increased. Still I was given time at home to decide. I then asked for and received a longer test drive at home. That helped me decide. I continued to make most arrangements via e mail and was never once subjected to hard ball negotiations, the taking of my keys and not returning them, no games. Even when receiving a quote from another dealer, I was able to get an even better price. I'm not sure if I ended up with the best price, but I would trade that for a great experience and Danielle provided exactly that. In addition, and although it increased the bill, for high mileage drivers such as myself, they offer a lifetime tire and a lifetime oil change package. This is not for everyone but for me it will represent a significant savings if I own the car as expected for at least 150k miles. I recommend this experience with Danielle at Loehmann-Blasius.

I had a great experience at Loemann-Blasius. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They walked me through alleviating any anxiety and offering many incentives. I initially looked at one Camaro, but when they saw what I was looking for they showed me the Camaro I eventually purchased. I'm really happy with this Camaro and the service staff is very helpful as well. I highly recommend Loemann-Blasius.

Blasius worked a great deal on a new 2500HD silverado and gave me a great deal on the 1500 silverado I was trading in. The truck I wanted they found out of state and worked their magic to bring it down for me all in a few days time. They went above and beyond to get me into the truck that my business and family needed. It was delivered just as promised with a superb finance rate. They get 5 stars from me! Don't go anywhere else!
