Played games avoided showing carfax

So unprofessional still dealing with the situation wasted our time management uses sales people as messenger pigeons refuses to speak Directly to work out a deal. This isn't the mafia? Show your face and your customers some respect, especially Bob. Sorry for any turbulence this review may cause but we are very frustrated.

Unprofessional staff.

It's pretty annoying when I'm trying to make a deal on a purchase and the sales person has kids that keep popping up and interrupting or interfering. I believe the salespersons name was Aaron. It really felt like a daycare. I decided to take my money elsewhere and I'm glad I did because I am now driving a brand new Toyota Avalon. Thanks Nissan!!

Very Happy Customer

I was referred to Nissan of Norwich by multiple friends and the service I received was as advertised. I was encouraged to reach out to David M to discuss what I was looking for. David took time to get an understanding of what I was looking to get out of my visit to Nissan Of Norwich. He made recommendations based on my interests not on what he wanted to get off the lot. When I showed up for my appointment I was introduced to Ted D that showed me the cars in the lot based on the information I gave to David. My concern was that I would be pressured and that Ted's goal would be to upsell me, this was not the case. Ted listened to what I was looking for and showed me the vehicles based on my needs. He was a pleasure to do business with and was not "salesy". Ted put me in the vehicle I was looking for and made the experience completely painless. Ted showed me the car and made sure I knew what I was getting into, he also followed up with me a few days later to make sure I was satisfied. I would absolutely refer David and Ted to friends and family that are looking for a vehicle!

Exceptional customer service

For a little background, I am, among other things, an investigator – specializing in consumer and internet fraud. I appear regularly on such television programs as The Dr. Oz Show, CNN Newsroom, Good Morning America, ABC News 20/20, and print media including the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Reader's Digest, Consumer Digest, and many others. In short, I may be a tougher customer than most. ;-) That said, I was in a car accident that left me with a "total loss" and I needed to find a replacement vehicle in a short amount of time. I knew I wanted a compact SUV so, after researching the usual sites – US News, Edmunds, JD Power, Consumer Reports, etc. – I decided that the Nissan Rogue was on my "short list" of vehicles for consideration. I arrived at Nissan of Norwich (having heard good things from a friend about their service department) and braced myself for the full-court press that some salespeople inundate you with the moment you arrive on their lot. Sure enough, no sooner had I stepped out of my car and along came Tudor. But to my pleasant surprise, there as no high pressure – just a welcome and "please let me know if there is anything I can help you with." Over the next 90-minutes I put this kind man through his paces – driving both new and used vehicles in a variety of trims and models – and he never lost patience with me (in spite of the high heat and oppressive humidity). At the end of the day, I told him I still needed to drive two other brands and, to my surprise, there was no barrage of, "what do I have to do to put you in this car today," come-ons. On the contrary, he genuinely seemed to understand that an educated consumer would ultimately make a choice s/he will not later regret. The following day, I came back to talk price. Again, I was surprised at the absence of usual high-pressure back-and-forth, "let me talk to the manager in his office and come back at you with a number" sparring matches most car buyers have come to expect. In fact, Tudor brought Sammy (the General Manager) over for the discussion and, like Tudor, Sammy was also had a wonderfully non-aggressive approach. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to have a real give and take "dialogue" with this sales team as opposed to feeling like I was being double-teamed. Ultimately, it was not only the Rogue, but also the dealership that was the deciding factor, and I am now 500 miles into being a Nissan owner. Based on my buying experience, I would highly recommend Nissan of Norwich! Best, Christine Durst

This was my second vehicle lease from Nissan of Norwich and I am completely satisfied with the service and professionalism this dealer provides. My salesman was Tudor F and he took his time to show me many vehicles and answer all my questions. Tudor is very personable and cares that you get exactly what you are looking for. He is also very knowledgeable about not just Nissan vehicles but many other makes and models as well. To improve the experience, it would be considerate to speed up the process because the I was at the dealership for about four hours. Other than that, I fully recommend going to Tudor at Nissan of Norwich.

My wife and I came to Nissan of Norwich after having shopped at Honda, Toyota, Ford and Subaru dealerships in search of a new vehicle to lease. We were treated very well by the salesman that we encountered (Ronald R). He answered all of our questions and took lots of time showing us through the car and explaining various amenities. We took a ride which further sold us on the car. Very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The rating on this car (another selling point to us) was equal to the Subaru and Honda in Consumer Reports so we knew we were getting a quality car. The extras included in this SUV were a major selling point. Only the Subaru had additional items included at no extra price. But, we found that the Subaru wasn't as comfortable a ride as the Rogue and the car wasn't as well made. Another selling point which we paid attention to was the way the salesman (Mr. R)was careful to include my wife in all discussions - unlike other dealerships, who directed everything to me. Big mistake - the car was for her! Also,The team that negotiated the price with us, in addition to Ron R, (Bob and David) were knowledgeable and very patient with us while we explained our need to stick to a budget (we are retired and on a fixed income). We were able to arrive at a mutually agreeable price and therefore were able to purchase the Rogue at Nissan of Norwich. We are very happy we did and will recommend this car (and salesman) to family and friends - although, it will speak for itself.

Nissan of Norwich is the best. our salesperson josue and financial guy dave were both very professional yet had a personality and were easy to deal with. this is our second Nissan versa in 5 years, keeping the 2009, and will be back for our next car. thanks for making car buying easy.

Twice as happy!

My wife and I are very satisfied with my Frontier and now her Pathfinder!!!! Customer service is everything and Nissan of Norwich is the place to go if you want fair, honest treatment where your needs is what matters most. Yes, they listen to you!! This is why I bought two vehicles here! As a former Nissan mechanic back in the 90s I was pleased with the feel and quality that goes into these vehicles. We know we made smart purchases and we know we were treated right! Thank you All at Nissan of Norwich, see you all soon!

10 years of car buying

I have always had a good buying experience with Nissan of Norwich. My first purchase was a used 1997 Jeep Grand cherokee. It had several issues quickly remedied by Nissan of Norwich. Since then I have purchased a Pathfinder, Murano (2003) a 2011 Altima and a 2012 altima. We are now considering a 2013 Altima. I just think they are a great place to do business with and have great cars to sell.

Worst Experience- Nissan of Norwich

I purchased a Certified 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SE, 33,000 miles with the extended Nissan Wrap Around warranty at Nissan of Norwich in March 2011. This has proved to be an extremely disappointing and nerve racking experience. After driving away from purchasing the vehicle the low fuel light came on. I would not recommend them as a dealer. The sales team was polite and cordial but I feel like I was an inconvenience when I returned a week later to have promised service done to the vehicle. I mentioned the vehicle was not riding smooth at speeds in excess of 50 mph, possibly due to the dealer installing two new inexpensive Nexen N5000 tires on the front, which did not match the Bridgestone Turanza tires on the rear. The salesman told me the service department checked the balance of the tires and it was fine. I was told to drive it for a while and if it keeps up to return. Four days later, I brought the car back in requesting the problem to addressed. The service department checked it out and stated a back tire was a bit off balance. I requested two new matching tires which I think would correct the problem. The dealership stated it is not a safety concern and that it passed inspection as is. After speaking with Nissan of Norwich, they offered to purchase one additional tire if I buy the other. After reading several bad reviews on Nexen tires I opted to bite the bullet and have Goodyear put four matching new tires on. The technicians at Goodyear brought me and exhibited how one of the front rims was wobbling as it spins around from being bent. They were shocked that this could go unnoticed. The alignment was way off, so this had to be corrected at my expense. The next day I sent an email to the dealership informing them of the bent rim asking for a replacement. After receiving no reply, I called the dealership and was told that the dealership declined to purchase a rim replacement. I asked to speak with the general manager, and he told me to bring the car in on Monday and the service department has a machine to fix bent rims. This is the department that mounted a tire on a bent rim and checked it twice when I complained about a rough ride. This is the worst experience I have ever had with purchasing a vehicle. I feel like I was "taken" and that I am stuck. Today I brought the vehicle to the dealer where they confirmed the rim was bent. The sales manager offered to pay half the cost of a $600 rim, which I declined.
