Finding a way

onHaving searched on line and then traveling to one VW dealer I thought I found the car I was looking for. I had but the sales process bogged down and as a highly motivated and qualified buyer I was delivered
nothing but road blocks and negative feedback. Communication was spotty as well and had to go through a higher authority each time. Frustrated I walked away. Searching dealer inventory on line I found the vehicle I was after at Hartford VW. I sent an email and got an immediate response from Stephen. When I started the process by throwing something out to initiate the "process" Stephen never reacted negatively or tried to counter he simply said "let me see if we can do that. That was an answer he gave repeatedly. That he was willing to explore my terms and offer motivated me to visit which I did and no changes from my email conversation sealed the deal. No BS just an earnest and credible effort to close a reasonable deal. No dealer is set up to give a vehicle away and there is no motivation to loose money on any sale but VW of Hartfird seems to understand part of the equation is moving inventory as they offered me the vehicle for significantly better terms than 5 other dealers I negotiated with. My experience with Stephen and VW of Hartfird was refreshing in that it never seemed me against them more like we worked together to get a deal that met my expectations and still for them paid some of the rent. Great experience.
