New C320
by 08/31/2010
onwent to showroom in Greenwich on a busy Sat. Salesman barely gave us the time of day. Pointed to the C320 - told us about it etc. and walked away. We leased the car from a different dealership. Very indifferent - never followed up.
Do not buy from Mercedez of Greenwich!

onI purchased a used car from this dealer and they were totally unprofessional, did not follow through on what they were supposed to do for the car, showed me a car covered in mud, did not check it nor have it ready at pick-up time and do not return phone calls. This dealership is awful! I would never reccomend it to anyone!

Nice but Pushy

onWent to this dealership last to try to find the exact car I wanted. Basically, because the GLK350 I wanted isn't "expensive" or "classy" enough, I couldn't find one dealership who could find me a car with keyless-go. Just to clarify, my 2007 Nissan Murano came STANDARD with keyless-go and wasn't an extra $1200 option. The sales people, especially the manager, Lou, were very nice to me and completely respectful. After the horror I endured from the disrespectful, sexist salesman at [another dealership], this was refreshing. They told me they could make me the car I wanted with everything I wanted in it and I would have it by the end of April, just when my lease was up for the Nissan. They gave me a good price. Well, I waited too long and they couldn't make me the car on time. Completely my fault. After that everything went downhill. The salesman was pushing this fleet program on my father. He would call me and ask me for 15 company vehicle registrations - TWICE lying to me and telling me my father had given me permission to send them to him. He was more interested in making a profit off this fleet program than selling me a car. He just got greedy. He then sent me a list of 5 cars they had/could get me - the next day this all changed and he couldn't get me ANY car from that list. I wanted a steel gray car and he was pushing a bright silver car. pushing a white car. I told him I would be flexible with the exterior as long as it wasn't bright silver or white. He got too pushy/greedy and tried to sell me something I didn't want - telling me I had no other choice. I ended up buying my car from another dealership. I doesn't have keyless-go and it's a black car..so it's not exactly what I wanted - but it's better than buying a car from an incredibly pushy salesman.

Do not trust this dealer

onI went to this dealer to buy a 2007 C-280 4MATIC with about 5500 miles in it and advertised "as new". In the few days from my deposit over the phone and the time I got to the dealership, somehow the odometer read 8200 miles+. Once again, I looked over the vehicle, asked for the carfax and all records of work done to the car and all were shown to be 100% clean. With this information, and the Mercedes warrantee behind me, I bought the car. 1 year later as I am driving through Maryland, I wind up hitting a deer on the front passanger side. The car is taken to the body shop for the estimate and repair. This body shop is one of Mercedes' premiere locations. The following day, the body shop manager calls me and tells me I need to come in and have a look. I did and lo and behold - the car had damage from a previous collision that was not disclosed to me at time of sale. The collission was substantial enough to have bent the suspension rods and drive the wheel into the engine frewall and leave a gouge. The repairs done to address that damage were flimsy at best. So, I've now bwwn on the phone for over a weeks with the dealer and with MB USA. So far I have had no one address the matter with me. The owner of the dealershop has avoided calls and not returned messages. I am sitting here in a rental car wondering what is going on and getting very close to filing suit along with complaints to the DMV. The bottom line was that this dealer sold a car as new and certified when in fact it was seriously damaged while in their posession (they are the only listed title-holders of the vehicle before me). The lies are compounding as we go on and I would recommend that anyone even thinking about buying a pre-owned vehicle, certified or not, avoid this dealer like the plague. I imagine that if I was sold a wrecked car that this dealer represented to be clean then other people have been sold the same thing. Some may know about it and some may not yet. I wonder if anyone has been hurt or worse from driving a car that was supposed to be clean but in fact was a wreck, repaired to substandard levels? In another few days, I think I'll inquire through the CT DMV and see.
