Buying a car from a Chrysler Car Dealer
hi all, new to the board and loving all the info. i am looking ot lease a fully loaded 06 300c w/ nav, sound, video, sunroof, leather, walnut trim, etc. msrp was quoted as 41265. cap cost is 38903 after all rebates. res value of 55% and money factor of .00175 on a 39 month lease. they want 2385 otd down, with monthly payments of 459 plus tax. is this a good deal? btw, this is from buerge in santa monica,ca. also, i've been told not to get a lease for longer than the warranty, so i am going to call back tomorrow to find out terms for a 36 month lease. car_man, could you let me know the terms for both a 36 and 39 mnth lease? thanks very much, bob
Thanks pe72pe for the additional information. It was just what I needed to get my deal sweetened!! We settled from an MSRP of $42,120 (invoice $38,969) for our fully loaded Pacifica Limited [SPECIFIC OPTIONS: NAV,Rear Video Sys,Intermezzo Stereo upgd, HID headlamps, Laminated Door Glass, Uconnect hands-free, Sirius Satellite radio, and something called a CMA charge for Calif] to $35,000. With an extended bumper-to-bumper 7/70 warranty thrown in (their cost 1350) for that price. That includes the $3,000 factory rebate. So basically a grand under invoice AND the warranty added in. You and this site were invaluable in giving me the facts necessary to get this good of a deal while being told by the dealer how much they were losing on this deal. Thanks again for taking the time to share!!!! :)
pe72pe, That sounds like a terrific price! I'm in negotiations right now for a similar deal on a fully loaded AWD Limited that is MSRP for 42,120. Includes pkg 26X, NAV, DVD ent system, safety glass coating, intermezzo stereo upgd, HID headlamps, SIRUIS w/first year and Uconnect. With all this, best I'm getting is around 35,500. What options were on yours for that great price?! I'm uncertain right now if I should go through with this deal, wondering if I can do better. Any info from you on your purchase would be most helpful. Thank you very much
So you got all the options (sound 2, protection 2, moonroof, u-connect, hid, real wood, pedals, etc.)? I ordered mine with everything but smoker's and cold weather group and am paying $2000 below MSRP (which includes $1000 loyalty discount). It sounds like you saved about another 2k. Is that correct? And how do you like driving yours??? I ordered mine 2 weeks ago. Hope it won't get lost, too.
With the similar equipments, you can get the new 2004 LXi for $28,000. Based on this, the 2003 one should be $21,000. (25% off in the first year). For your 1996 van, you can get 6,000-7,000 easily by selling it yourself, if body is at excellent condition and mileage is at 80,000 miles.
