Praise for Reggie Shelton, Service Manager at Penske Cadillac in Torrance

This is a letter of praise for Reggie Shelton, Service Manager at Penske Cadillac in Torrance, CA. ! I cannot say enough praise and good things about Reggie Shelton! Reggie is professional; knowledgeable; humble; patient; listens well; excellent with follow ups; etc. Anyway, Several weeks ago, I made my first service appointment (as well as 1st time at the dealership) for a scheduled oil change for my 2022 Cadillac Premium Luxury Escalade at Penske Cadillac. I had my 2nd service appointment a few days ago. On both occasions, I saw .... * The exact same professionalism and dedication to me as well as other customers * I observed LOYAL Return Customers to Penske Service Department due to Reggie's commitment to provide the best service and pleasant experience while their auto in being serviced * Always finding the time to address any customer's questions or concerns * In my case, per my request, Reggie pointed me to some accessories I plan to purchase at the Penske dealership next month as well as referring me to Bob Uchia for an upcoming purchase of another Cadillac Also, While in the Penske's customer waiting area, several other customers also spoke highly of Reggie's commitment and professionalism!!!! One thing we all agreed on while discussing Reggie as we were waiting for our vehicles is that because of Reggie Shelton, we will always bring our GM autos for service to Penske Cadillac!!!! So, In closing, ...... Reggie's dedication; expertise and professionalism is greatly appreciated for customers (like me) who have their vehicles serviced at Penske Cadillac! Best Regards!, C. Keene

Cadillac XT5

I was undecided as to used or new. I wanted a SUV but the price I would have had to pay was so high. At the last minute I decided to lease. The process took so very long. At the end of the evening I just wanted to leave. The car was clean and fully gas, I took a quick look inside and said fine ready to leave. Headliner was not clean and front air vent cover level missing. It has been several weeks and I can't seem to get any one to call me back to get this done at the dealer. The font tire became low within days of having the SUV at home, only to be told it is not covered. What a shame.

terrible - brought my dts in for recall service (key mod)- less than a 5 minute service- after 90 minutes i inquired about the car - nobody could even find the car or the paperwork. after 15 more minutes, he came and said the work had not been started. i explained i had appointments and had to leave. he was very rude and unapologetic and said he would bring the car up and let me leave. in 5 minutes he brought up the car and said the key mod was just done, and that the actual mod took 'less than a minute'. i brought the car in to perform and clear the recall since i am going to trade in for a ct6 as soon as they arrive. this continues to be my plan, but not from this dealership. i am so angry about this 2 hour time waste and the rudeness of the service personnel, that i am posting reviews everywhere i can find.

Management needs to be replaced

Had problems with car from the begining and saleman said it was going to get taken care of and issue got worse. Was told car came with existing warranty and had no prior problems both things were a lie and for the first week I began finding body damage on car that the dealer denied was ever there and then pulled the picture from the online advertisement and saw the same damages. Was denied the military discount by saleman. Was promised replacement keyless entry key because the ones issued were defective and still waiting. Tried to call the store manager and was routed to a voice mail. Manager never returned calls on the voicemails. Dealership left the antitheft alarm ative and was not able to take it off until almost a week later. Haven't owned the car more than a year yet and have had leaks,steering issues, trans damage, wiring problems, throttle issues and an oil leak. Now I know why the dealership refused to inspect the car before I drove off home.

WORST CADILLAC SERVICE EVER - Do Not Bring Your Car here! I expect a premium level of service for a premium brand, at the very least I would expect a competent level of service and a competent service staff / mechanics, being that Cadillac is trying to take Market share from BMW, Mercedes and Lexus. I choose Penske Cadillac Hummer of South Bay to service my CTS-V based on the reviews I saw online, they defiantly did not meet expectation. I brought my car in for simple routine maintenance and they provided a miserable experience. They were supposed to do an inspection of the vehicle and provide a report. Their report stated everything was good to go. I later found out this was not the case. The "loaner car" they rented to me was a KIA Rio, that was dirty. And they were slow and rude. They didn't meet their time estimates. The car wash smeared the dirt around, they would have been better not washing it. I thought I would give them another chance because we all have off days. 3 weeks later I brought the car in for an exhaust problem, which they couldn't diagnose and ended up having them tell me my brakes needed to be replaced, a part which they specifically said was in good shape on the previous visit. The Service Manager (Foster) was a rude, dismissive jerk, the Mechanics are un-skilled and the General Manager (Reed) didn't seem to care all that much that my entire experience at his store was terrible. I wasted more than half a day dealing with these guys and to top it off they came to pick me up from my office in my own car. My colleagues who purchased BMW and Mercedes always have a good experience. I will never under any circumstance bring my vehicle back to Penske and defiantly will not ever purchase a vehicle from them.

Purchased a pre-owned 2003 Escalade from Penske Cadillac on 1/11/08 Russ, Javier and Gino made the buying experience great! Charlie the Security Guard was great too!

Outstanding service

Have been in for a few recalls under warranty. They give you a free loan car, service is good, free snacks and drinks. Very good lounge if you want to wait. Service advisers are very good. I saw a sign there the said something like, “If you are not 100% happy with our service, don’t leave, come see the customer relations manager.

New H3 with Adventure Package

When the H3 first came out, I dealt with the internet department. They gave me a good price for a vehicle that was in demand. My trade in was a almost new Ford ranger 4x4, vehicle was like new, but did not suit our needs. We ended up about $800 apart in negotiations. My wife never wants to trade vehicles, but in this case she said I was being unreasonable, which let me know she wanted the H3. I told the salesman, let’s split the difference and you have a deal. We still love our H3 after 2 years. Dealer has high standards, customers are treated with respect.

Purchased a Hummer H3x

As far as my car buying experiences go (about 6 cars), this was by far the most "enjoyable" one. My sales associate was very patience as I pick which car I wanted to test drive. He help me compare the different models. Helping me figure out cost, need, and quality. He encouraged me to take as long as I needed, during the test drive. Very knowledgeable and did not apply any high pressure sales tactics. Once I choose the model, financing went as quick as any other I have experienced. The finance guy did try and sell me the add-ons, but was not pushy. Real pleasant...he just informed me on the options. The place was clean and the employees were real professional. While I waited for finance, (about 30 minutes) the waiting room was stock with bottled water, soft drinks, and assortment of coffee. (all free of charge) The service dept. was a little slow when I came for service. I had to wait ten minutes before anyone said anything to me. Two service reps saw me pull up and did not acknowledged me at all. Once I finally got a rep. he was very very very informative and knowledgeable about the Hummer. Almost obsessive! I appreciated his eagerness to explain and his enthusiasm. Overall, I am very pleased with this dealership...they get an "A" from me.
