My new truck

onMy experience with ford frontier was really good the guy Alex who help me was cool respectful and helpful were when to ford in Salinas we’re we live those guys they don’t help or try to work with you so some one from frontier ford call me if still was interested in the truck ford f150 lariat I said ok is nothing wrong with talking we’re have a appointment for are minicooper for some service and it’s right there next to minicooper so we went saw the truck this guy Alex help us and they work with us with what we want and they make it happen it was no pressure you know like when they pushing you to buy and there was no hiding things like extra charges like here in Salina’s ford nothing like that so we definitely will do more business with them

onI have purchased many cars at dealers over my lifetime and was expecting the usual. I was wrong, it was not the usual nightmare. I flew to this dealership to purchase my new vehicle and they were fantastic. They were friendly, courteous and willing to help in anyway. Brad and Sonia were awesome. To prove my point I’m not on any social media nor do I give reviews but they were so fantastic that I broke down to give this review.

onI’m a young woman who was seeking a sensible used car. Other dealerships didn’t listen to me & pushed me into deals. But at Frontier, Jorge was incredibly nice & low pressure. That gave me the space to make my own decision & I purchased that day! They went above & beyond to make sure the car was in top shape. However I would recommend being cautious of extended warranties, as they can be pricey & might not be right for you.

onI was able to buy the Ranger I wanted, at very close to the price I wanted. My salesman was super helpful and the car was very well detailed and topped off with gas when I arrived to pick it up. The dealership has a great selection of vehicles and they keep the website updates with accurate information ;-)

onGreat experience. Brought my truck in the night before and dropped my keys in the overnight box. Received a text message when my truck had been examined the next day with all of the potential work items listed from must haves, to could do’s. Made selection through the app link from the text message. The service center ordered the parts and texted me again when my truck was ready the next morning. This service was much faster than other dealerships I have been to. I also received a call/voicemail from the lead mechanic in case I wanted to talk to someone, but everything in the app was explained thoroughly. Truck was fixed to my satisfaction. Great experience, I will go back.

Report of negligent damage to my Ford Raptor during regular service

on-The vehicle (2014 Ford Raptor Super Crew) was taken in for a 100k service as part of the final service purchased on the Ford Premium Maintenance plan. This vehicle is also covered under the Ford Extended Service plan. It was in good working order with no known issues. -During this regular service, the service technician took a shortcut from the standard procedure and cut away portions of my front inner fenders to gain easier access to the lower set of rear spark plugs (there are 16 total, 4 of which are hard to access as they are on the rear lower end). In cutting the fender, he also cut through my body harness, rendering the brake lights and rear camera inoperable (the vehicle is no longer road legal). -After the service was performed, the Service Advisor advised me the brake lights and camera were not working, despite the vehicle having no such issues when I arrived. He advised a $225 diagnostic to find the issue. As I had dropped off the vehicle and was not at the dealership anymore, it was not reasonable for me to personally inspect at the time and I agreed to have a diagnostic performed. -The Service Advisor advised the brake light bulbs needed replacing and this should fix the problem. I consented to the replacement of the bulbs. -The Service Advisor then advised the replacement of the brake light bulbs did NOT fix the brake light problem, and he would have another technician more experienced in electrical issues diagnose the problem. -The Service Advisor notified the body harness passing power to the brake lights and rear camera was severed. The Service Advisor sent photos of the damage to my email. He asked me if I wanted to repair it, with an estimate of $1000, to which I declined because I had not had a chance to personally inspect the damage myself. -Upon personal inspection it was clear the original technician had cut through the fenders to access the lower set of spark plugs, and at the same time cut through the vehicle harness rendering the vehicle unsafe to drive due to non-functional brake lights and backup camera. -I notified the Service Advisor of my finding and he said this was impossible because the spark plugs are on the top (this is false, again the 6.2L V8 has 16 spark plugs, 8 of which are on the lower end and 4 of which are hard to access without moving the fender). -I dropped off the vehicle again with the Service Advisor after showing him the issue in person, so he could explain it to the technician and service manager. I expected a full resolution of the issue including a refund of my $225, replacement of my fenders mutilated by the technician, replacement of the damaged vehicle harness with a new harness, and a new technician to work on the vehicle. -The Service Manager, Francisco Ramirez, made no accommodations to amend the situation, and was adamant that the damage existed before they received the vehicle. Francisco offered numerous excuses as to why the damage was not their fault, despite the damning evidence that the vehicle was fully functional until immediately after the service performed by the technician. -Due to the lack of issue resolution, I explained to the Service Advisor and Service Manager I would take the issue up with Ford Customer Relations. I am also taking up the issue with my credit card company, BBB, and all review websites to ensure people are aware of the poor business practices, unskilled technicians, and customer-last attitude of the Frontier Ford service department.
