If you don't want deal want to deal with pushy people, then avoid

onI don't know why (but I guess it's just a global policy) but all (I mean all of them) VW dealerships in the US are extremely pushy. Once you step inside, they are desperately trying to sell you a car at all costs with an intensity that can be too much even for a street fraud guy. They only let you go if you become really straight, tough or (better be) even rude. I know that it could be said about many dealerships. But in VW, for instance, if you want to trade your car they take your car keys and won't give it back to you unless you demand them right away or they realize that you won't buy anything for sure.
In addition, my example with this particular dealerships
Here is my issue: I recently (June 11th) visited VW car dealership (Serramonte Volkswagen) with an interested to one of VW car models. What happened (not surprisingly) is the dealership people where so pushy that they where desperate to sell me a car right away and made 6 (!) credit inquires to different banks without even notifying me about that. Of course it impacted my already not perfect credit score. Total [non-permissible content removed].
The important thing is: I'm not saying that VW are bad cars. They are mostly pretty good cars. But those official VW dealerships are going to do anything but satisfy you. Yes I mean it. And yes I tried a number of them. Same story every time.
If you are really want a VW I'd recommend to try to buy one avoiding official store.
