2024 GMC Yukon Denali Purchase

Had searched inventory on gmc.com and identified a potential vehicle at Simpson Buena Park. Robert Salinas was my sales rep. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions regarding the car. George the sales manager also was easy to work with as was the finance gentleman. All in all, not a bad interaction with any of the folks at Simpson. I had a roof rack added and Robert did a great job communicating the progress as the part shipped, was received and installed. Final walkthrough was also seamless. I would look to this dealership for future car purchases.

Dissatisfied

I am disappointed with the Service Department. In the last 3 times that I got my truck serviced there were always some incidents that I don’t understand why it happened. 1) On 01/27/2023, I dropped off my truck for regular service,. And when I’m picking it up my fob keys were gone missing. Didn’t find it and technician had to order a replacement. 2) On 07/07/2023, another service was due, same thing happened. They lost my key fob that had a key ring that I treasure a lot. I was told to submit the receipt and I will be reimbursed. 3) Just recently 09/22/2023 (which was this last service), my side mirror with a mini circular mirror attachment was missing. So I asked the technician what happened. He came back and said it fell. If I did not ask, he would have not told me about it? That’s not good. 3) Still same date 09/22/2023. My truck four wheel cap covers were damaged when they rotated the wheels. I am not sure if they know how to remove the cap covers. And if they do not know how, why didn’t they say anything. And no one there mentioned about the damage. It was only because I saw it. I am dissatisfied with the service that I get from this dealership service department. I bought their service package trusting that my truck will be in good shape and care. I hope they will pay attention to my concerns.

Immediate Service Required

I needed immediate service for a dead battery, after car jumped started called Simpson and without an appointment they made room for me. Was able to take care of other maintenance as well. Jose us always responsive, compassionate and efficient! Thanks Jose.

Disappointed

I was charged a fee for a service that was not actually performed. I was told an inspection would be done and what was wrong would be diagnosed. No inspection was done but an estimate of $1000 for services to be perfor.wd was given. Needless to say I did not have the work done.

Don't go before closing time is my tip

Drove down all the way from Van Nuys and arrived at 8:05pm last night(Monday). Keep in mind this was after checking with the salesman if this is ok. Was assured it was. Once I got there all the lights up front were off including the logos and all that. Anyway went inside and started talking. I made sure to let them know that with my Transunion score and Equifax score I would qualify for tier 1 rates. I told them for some reason my Experian is lower and I will not qualify. The manager said they only use experian. Although frustrated I was glad he let me know so I wouldn't run my credit. I did not want to take a hit if I was not going to qualify for tier 1. Today I asked 3 people what GM financial uses. Guess what, all three said Transunion. One being a Chevy salesperson. The other a finance guy at another GMC dealer. Last person was one that bought his car at Simpson a few days ago for the exact deal I was looking for!! So I am not sure why I was provided false info. You would think they would want to make a sale. Maybe they wanted to go home early? Maybe the manager didn't know? But why would he tell me that before checking to be positive. If I am proven that GM financial only uses Experian I will update the review but as of now it seems they just turned me away to go home early.

Worst and dishonest service center ever.

Worst and dishonest service center ever.. Took my car in and they kept it for a few days and at the end told me they needed to order parts. Then I found out the car had additional 30 miles. Upon returning they again kept my car overnight and did oil only change only. Told me they didn't fix the car because I complained about the extra mileage didn't let them test drive the car. Then I found out the car had extra 5 miles on it. Complained to the supervisor who said he will call back and never did.

initial service on my acadia and all service items were not performed. i.e. tire pressure was not performed with all 4 tires low. suspect tire rotation not done.
