Worst Car Buying Experience of All Time

onIn our many years of buying cars this has been BY FAR THE WORST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE OF ALL TIME. They are treating a retired military family horribly. They Lie, verbally and in writing. We still don't have what we were promised in writing. The GSM refuses to get on the phone to solve the issues. The GM has 8 messages from us and still no returned call. I could go on and on.... this dealership should be ashamed to be associated with Chevrolet and Berkshire Hathaway. I assure you the this treatment is not appreciated or expected. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

onVan Chevy was great to work with, the sales team is prompt, professional, courteous, not pushy. I came in there serious about making a deal and they took me seriously and didn’t try to screw me over. on$200 dollars to have the diagnostics checked with a code reader is to much. It takes what 15 minutes to plug the code reader into the OBD2 and pull a code? Automotive parts stores will do it for free but when I brought the report to the dealer they said they can't use that report. I get that it takes time for the mechanic to do this why not start out and $50 dollars, about a quarter hour of labor, and if takes longer to find problem charge accordingly. I also made appointment to drop car off and when I did I was told it would take two days before they could even look at car? Why not make appointment for that day then? Seems inefficient to both me and the dealer to have my car for two days before they do anything with it.

Judged and Profiled

onLong Story short we walked the lot 2 times before we had to ask for help. Once they found out what we wanted they treated us like we count not afford it. We were judged all the way to the end and we felt like we were racially profiled and I will never do business there again. We bought a 2023 2500HD Denali diesel and we didn't get a walk around, the truck set up, a thank you, we didn't even get the ring the bell... Don't do business here.

Can't leave until you make a purchase

onI had stopped by Van Buick GMC and was kept from eating, I didn't eat since breakfast and usually make better decisions when I have a full stomach. I had made a purchase I never intended to make, I wanted an SLT AWD Acadia but was pushed to purchase an AT4 Acadia which is not what I wanted. I was kept at the dealership and wasn't able to leave until I made a purchase I was not in my right mind when I made the purchase, combining the heat with lack of eating I was vulnerable. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone, knowing that they will keep you from leaving until you make a purchase is totally unacceptable.

Horrible overall experience

onEXTREMLY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE I AM GOING THRU WITH VAN CHEVROLET IN SCOTTSDALE AZ. I recently visited Van Chevrolet and purchased a truck that was not even there.(ordered) I have been getting the run around since may 24th on the delivery date of the truck from Michael RyBicki our sales person and Dan Alexander from finance just refuses to speak to me even after leaving lots and lots of messages., I have been calling every day trying to get an answer and have been hung up on, text, calls have not been returned. Spoke to Bryan who is a supervisor there, very rude individual who was no help at all and was told to call my sales guy even after explaining the situation I was going thru with calls and text messages, and was hung up by him as well, not sure if they have terrible phone service or this is the way this business runs,. Not sure if they want to keep my money I gave then for a down payment or what their plan is, but I do not recommend anybody going there to purchase any cars there. This has been a horrible experience and super stressful to the point that I have broken down into tears because of all this horrific customer service. Avoid any business with this dealership.

onThis is the third time I have gone for service and this last time I was notified my car was washed and ready. It was not washed. Last time they forgot the to put the tops on my air valve on my tires.. I had a great sales man but the service department needs to pay attention to detail as I am beginning to wonder if they changed my oil, rotated my tires and checked what they said. If I go again I will watch them. No more customers no allowed...

Short but Sweet

onMy vehicle was garaged for 7 months with someone coming in a couple of times a month. Unfortunately the battery went dead. I had GM Roadside come out and jump start it and then drove to Van's. They knew what to do, took me right away, did the diagnostics on the battery to see if it could be charged and then just put in a new batter and in an hour I was on my way. They were professional. They told me what they were going to do, and how they would do it. And I was not charged and sent on my way.
