Amazing customer service. David helped me with getting my vehicle winterized for Alaska. He provided a lot of questions on different parts that would be added to the vehicle. Also, after the vehicle was fully inspected by the team, he further explained the concerned areas and what additional services I needed. It was very helpful.

My car extended warranty is over and I am expecting that any services on car will be charged more expensive. The service done was due for an oil changed and checked on other services that needs to be done but the supervisor said my Subaru is still in good condition. He does always a good job and made me confident completely on my car overall safetyness esp during winter. His assistant was friendly and helpful too. As I’ve said, I feel that Subaru services are trustworthy , that is why I would bring back my car when it calls for service ..

New car purchase

Purchased my first new car. Helpful answered my endless questions, especially the finance and warranty questions. They scheduled a Follow up appt to make sure I was happy with vehicle. There was a very limited supply of new vehicles in stock but that wasn’t something they could control. It is interior Alaska after all.

Oil change and diagnostics for horn not working

Experience with David Bolt is ALWAYS outstanding! I was scheduled for an oil change, but realized my horn was not working, and he was able to squeez me in. Gave me accurate timeline, and what part likely needed to be dianosed and replaced. Only criticism is the oil change price is $120.00 and I always get a coupon in the mail AFTER the service that expires prior to when oil change is due again.

I was not told when I was looking to buy a car that the battery would die if it was not driven daily. Leaving it at the airport for a couple of days and the battery was dead, left it in my garage for a day the battery was dead. Called Kendall, they sent a wrecker to take it for service. They installed a triple charger which I was charged for. It died again and I dropped it off. They fixed it so I could in my garage if the battery was to low to start the car.

Customers are not appreciated

Very unimpressed with this dealership. Did everything to provide all info prior to signing, but still took 5 hours to sign papers and request more stuff that was never requested. Never an apology for time wasted and really did not seem to care that we chose to buy from them at all. Would have dropped deal in middle, if son weren’t so determined to have that car. Really felt like they did not care one bit that we were buying from them.

KENDALL SUBARU SERVICE IS GREAT

I bought a 2015 Subaru Forester in Washington state and then moved to Alaska. I travel 300 miles, one way, to get my Subaru serviced at Kendall Subaru of Fairbanks. They are always on time and are very professional. I can't say enough about how they go the extra mile for you. The people there are so nice and helpful and the technicians know what to do. I will keep traveling the 600 miles so they can service my vehicle.

Best Subaru deal found in Fairbanks

Saved thousands special ordering 2015 Subaru Forester with the options I wanted and color inside/outside vs. paying "adjusted market value (markup)" and dealer added accessories take it or leave it attitude from local Anchorage Subaru dealer. 6 weeks later I drove off with my 2015 Subaru Forester and did not regret buying from Kendall Subaru of Fairbanks. They'll be my next choice for another vehicle if I am in the market again.

dishonest

vehicle not delivered, was way overpriced, asked for true market value, did not get that, was not interested in offering any accessories and felt the purchase was rushed and did not feel valued as a customer, family was ignored, deal made but was rescinded due to financing - did not honor offers made, bought the vehicle for the namesake, not because of the dealer
