Excellent Buying Experience

Jimmy was our sales rep throughout our entire journey to find a unicorn telluride and let me tell you, he stepped up to bat for us and was able to track down and obtain this vehicle in no time at all. I would highly recommend using this KIA dealership, and more specifically, Jimmy, if you are ever in the market for a new KIA or a used car. Jimmy was super knowledgeable and very professional and personable. Phenomenal experience.

Crappie Dealership and worthless to have 100000 mile warranty they do not h

Bought a Lemon of a 2013 Sportage check engine light came on first time they said they had no idea what was wrong with it and reset the light.One week later light came back on and they claimed it was from using cheap gas and charged me 200 dollars to clean fuil system.One week later light came back on they claim that it was because they did not clean system good enough and recleaned fuil system again.Around a month later the light came back on.We carried the car to another delalership they keep the Lemon a month replaced the block tried it and did not fix the problem.They then changed the head called me I picked the piece of junk up on Tuesday only for the light to come back on the next Tuesday.They have had this lemon for two and a half weeks and replaced the computer only for the light to come back on.Riverchase Kia and Kia are refusing to replace this lemon.I advise anyone looking for a new vehicle to look for a different make.Don't buy no Kia

They use false advertising and lies to make you come in to the business. They out right lied to me on the phone concerning a contest which I was led to believe I'd won. I should have known better.

Classic bait and switch, deceptive practices

We were coerced into considering a vehicle that did not meet our criteria. We were told by both the salesman and his boss that we just could not get what we wanted but that we could and should take what they had. We deferred for 2 days, researched with Edmunds and found everything we wanted for a considerable reduced price, including trade-in and extras that were not on the Riverchase model. Riverchase lied about the cost of accessories, and lied about what was available. They deserve no (0) stars.

warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on

would not honor the warranty looked for ways to avoid fixing the problem and then wanted to paid over 300 for doing nothing to car. shady people to deal with only give you the run around and take their time trying to assist you.

shady unethical organization to deal with.

was not happy with the service at this dealership. I told the dealer I could afford 250 to 300 in payments and I had all my research on the car and the price they posted on their website. Dealer called me and told me that I could come pick up my new vehicle but when I got there he tried to convince me that a 2012 Forte was over 24K and my payments would be 450 to 500 a month. I showed him the paperwork on the value of the car but he would not negotiate. tried to sell me a used 2008 vehicle for what I thought I would originally be paying for the Forte. that 5000 rebate is a bunch of mess because they run the price of the car up by 8K or more. No deal at all only thought they could take advantage of someone. will never go back and do business with this organization they wasted my time.

Awful experience with the service dept.

The experience with the service dept. was a total nightmare!!! Had the car 3 weeks and the secondary intake valve had a hole in it... it took them a month to get it fixed.... while they had it my convertible top got tore up while in their possession. they told me to leave it with them again so they could fix it, they then had it another a week supposively fixing it.... I got there to get it to find it fixed with black duct tape!!! when I questioned the tape the service manager Allen told me that was as good as it was going to get.... I spent 9,000.00 on this vehicle to have it fixed with duct tape!!! rreally!!! So i recommend HIGHLY think long and hard before servicing at Riverchase kia in Pelham, Al.

I purchased a Kia Forte for my daughter from Riverchase Kia and they made this experience on e of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. No pressure, No haggle, Great deal. Would recommend them if you are in the market for a new car :)

Riverchase Kia - 5 Star dealership !

Everyone at Kia was fantastic ! After stopping by the lot and getting the usual sales pitch, I took a different tact. I emailed with a bottom - price request and stated there would be no negotiating. Within hours, I got just what I wanted: a remarkable price on the vehicle I selected, with a breakdown of the price. Within 15 minutes of submitting my trade-in info, I got an outstanding offer, with the numbers revised - including a competitor bonus I was unaware of. I went down, took a test-drive, and agreed to buy. The contract was written up, and the numbers actually DROPPED from the initial handwritten / emailed quote - how often does THAT happen ?!? Very happy customer for life !

TERRIBLE SERVICE!

The service manager is unbelievably rude and talks down to people. I have owned my car for 4 months and have had to take it in 3 times and have had AWFUL service every single time. The first time I had to take it in was because the rain guards on my windows were falling off after 2 weeks of owning my car. The service department had not put them on properly. The second time, it was an electrical issue but the service manager told me I was an idiot because the problem would not happen while my car was in the shop. I also asked them to wash and wax my car. When I picked it up (after having to call to see if it was ready... I never received a phone call from them like I was told I would), there was dried wax caked all over my car and the inside was FILTHY! This last time I took it in was because the check engine light was on and, again, never received a phone call to come pick up my car. When I called at 4 p.m. to see if it was ready, the service manager proceeded to yell at me when I questioned him about why I never received a call telling me my car was ready. I met several people in the waiting area and they all have the same complaints about the service manager, John... he's just simply rude and thinks he is better than everyone. When I complained to the dealership manager AND John when I picked up my car, I was never told "I'm sorry"... just had the loaner car keys snatched out of my hand (which was given to me on an empty tank of gas so I had to use my own money to put gas in THEIR loaner car... same thing happened to me last time I got a loaner from them) and they told me to leave. I will NEVER go back and hope my story enlightens others so they will stay away from this place also!
