Unhappy Customer STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by Unhappy on 11/26/2016

WARNING WARNING WARNING BEWARE OF THIS DEALER VERY SHADY!!!!!!!! Must not just me look at all the 1STARS they have. WISH I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR. I Purchased a 2013 Amg and was told it had no scrapes scratches ect. Showroom condition. Pay 85K and had car delivered to another state. When I received car found scrapes under the front end took pictures and also noticed it was due for a service that was not performed before delivery. I contacted my sales rep he said no problem get the service done and get a quote to fix the scrapes and we will send you a check. So I get the oil changed and get a quote and send it to them. Was told check was in the mail over and over and over again. Finally a check came only for the oil change and in the wrong name for me to cash and get reimbursed. So I contacted them again and was told several times again that Desiree received the check back and was sending out a replacement. NOT!!!! That never happened. So my next step was to go to my credit card and dispute the amount against the deposit I placed on car. The Manager MICHAEL TOTH tried his best to stop the charge back stating that I had received my check and was not due the money. Again a total LIE!!! by this dealer. So I sent in all my info and my credit card company took the money promised to me back. Well I thought all was done with this nightmare but no comes today 2 certified letters from the court in Alabama where the dealer is now suing me for the money in small claims and I have proof they promised to pay me. Are you really serious here I have never in my life of buying high end cars a dealer so shady so many promises and so many LIES!!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor go buy your car elsewhere. They are nothing but [non-permissible content removed] and I will be suing them back as well. MICHAEL TOTH The Porsche Manager has done nothing but LIE LIE and LIE!!!!!! He has committed PERJURY by filing false claims to the courts and it will be addressed. Do not deal with THESE GUYS THE WILL SCREW YOU OVER and then SUE you in court. But the best part is I will SUE them Back we will see in court. I even tried reaching out to the owner of the business to try to work out the dispute as the courts encourage you to try and as I thought it would that fell on deaf ears. NO RESPONSE. SAD SAD SAD This is how you treat customers that buy 85000.00 cars from them. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR BUY YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE THERE ARE MANY DEALERS THAT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS AND DON'T TREAT THEM LIKE A PIECE OF TRASH. I also tried to reach out to the owner to try to settle dispute and have gotten zero response. As I figured they dont care about the customers just the bottom line. TYPICAL CAR DEALERSHIP HOPE THEY GET MANY MORE COMPLAINTS SO THEY LOSE THERE LICENSE. Pitiful customer care.

Cannot condone dishonesty!

by Patti62 on 11/03/2016

After looking several months, for a relatively new Mercedes-Benz with low mileages, I bought a 2013 C class 250 from Dean McCrary Mazda. Prior to purchasing this vehicle I asked numerous questions about the warranty involved. I was verbally told by both Brandon and Thomas (salesman) that not only was it still under a Mercedes-Benz manufacturer warranty, but that I would also receive a powertrain for life warranty from Dean McCrary. I traded in my Volvo and paid cash for the remaining balance. While doing the tons of paper work involved, I was told my car was being serviced and detailed! It was not until I was ready to leave the dealership and presented with the key to the Mercedes; was I informed they only had one key to the vehicle. (400 plus at the local Mercedes-Benz dealership) That very night the do not drive low coolant light came on. Luckily, I was at the local hospital and a security guard was able to assist me with the problem by adding water in coolant! The dealership provided me with a rental car for several days and a told me that my Mercedes would be fixed. This car is not under any warranty with Mercedes Benz and moreover, l cannot buy a Mercedes Benz warranty for it!! To my complete shock late yesterday afternoon the service B light come on!! I have had this car less than a month!! I have an appointment next week with Mercedes-Benz to have the service work done on it and see what if any kind of extended warranty I can buy for it. There have also been some issues with me trying to purchase a tag for the vehicle. I personally, spoke to Mr. McCrary earlier this afternoon concerning the issues I had dealt with. He told me he would check into these issues and either he or the head manager of the Mazda dealership would be getting back in touch with me immediately. As of writing this review, neither he nor anyone from the dealership has called me back!! If he cares so little for his customers; how can you expect his employees to do any better!?! Luckily, with the help and determination of a very nice young lady at the tag office; I was able to purchase my car tag today. Please be very leery of this dealership . . . they will promise you the world to sell you a car and deliver nothing in return!! I am seriously contemplating taking this to arbitrations, but not even sure it's worth the time or flush striation involved. I will never do business with this dealership again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Terrible sales manager, Great Miata

by Chad_Miata on 09/15/2016

I called ahead and sent a copy of my insurance and driver's license because I was driving in from out of state. The General Manager, Jeff Nunn suggested that I do this to speed up the paperwork. It took 2 1/2 hours to get to the paperwork even though I was paying cash. I then paid a $599 Doc Fee and was promised that this was for the title work. They also collected taxes. Yesterday, I received a check mad out to the La DMV for the taxes, a statement of origination and instructions to go register the car. So now I have to do what I paid $599 to have done. Finally, in addition to the car being dirty, the window still having writing on it, etc, they had lost one of the 2 very expensive keys. Jeff Nunn promised to call me the next day (he has my cell phone number) and arrange to have a local dealership in Baton Rouge make me a new key free of charge. That has not happened and he does not answer my calls or texts. This has, in short, been a terrible new car buying experience and I would never recommend any McCrary dealership or any dealership with Jeff Nunn as a manager to anyone.

]Classic bait and switch...

by gotscammed2 on 07/15/2016

"This low mileage Mazda2 has barely been touched. It's the next best thing to buying new." This is the way their website describe a 2012 Mazda 2 with low mileage. I called the dealership and set up an appointment to see the car. Their phone and email etiquette was superb, so I drove 2 hours to see the car with the intention of paying their advertised price. When I got there, I saw what their camera angles, sales staff, and Carfax report did not disclose: 1) Massively cracked windshield 2) 2" hole in front bumper and crooked hood 3) Right corner of rear bumper was melted. Yep, melted. Need less to say, I was furious at the misrepresentation. they promised to make it up to me... Their solution was to try to sell me a newer, more expensive model of the same car with half again as much mileage...for list price, $3000 more than the original car. I asked the manager to meet me in the middle price wise, but he refused, His only consideration was to offer to put gas in my car as I walked out... The single star is for the folks I spoke to on the phone; too bad management doesn't have the same attention to detail.

So dishonest

by Staci160 on 07/03/2016

I live 1 and a half hours from the dealership and asked for a price quote for a specific car which they had in stock. I was quoted a price which I was happy with. It was about $5000 less than other dealers. Because of this, I thought the price sounded to good to be true and even called the dealership to verify that this is correct and not an error. I also asked why the car was so cheap and was told that it was due to it being a holiday weekend and they had too many in stock. After making the drive to Mobile, the sales person explained to me that the price I had been quoted could only be reached if I qualified for all available rebates. I did not qualify for any of the rebates which actually put the price of the car back up $5000. No where on their website do they explain the "instant savings" are rebates which you have to qualify for. In the email price quote I received, there is no explanation about the price of the car being contingent on qualifying for rebates. I wasted my gas and time for nothing. If they had been honest about the actual cost of the car, I would have never made the trip. This dealership is very deceitful. Beware going to them.

Cannot recommend dishonesty...

by kkann1 on 06/25/2015

I normally don't leave reviews, but here it goes...first off, the salesmen at the used car center yelling at each other didn't make for a nice experience. I overlooked that initially because everyone has a bad day occasionally...right? The part I can't get over is the multiple times I asked if I could change my own oil and do my own brake jobs under the "warranty for life" program, and the multiple times they told me yes you can...all you have to do is call this 800 number...over and over they told me it wouldn't be a problem...because I wanted to be sure...well that isn't so. So for their dishonesty just to get the sale...I don't recommend them or their warranty company they represent. I will review them on a different page. Sad thing for Dean McCrary is that I buy cars regularly to keep something new and reliable around...I will not buy from them ever again for this. And to think all they had to do is tell the truth...

Rude

The salesman was great to work with, however those above him were incredibly rude. At Dean McCrary Mazda, customers definitely do NOT come first.

Sales Review

by bmwroadster on 09/18/2013

Dealership is not very clean or well kept. Their business philosophy is not much different. I have been buying cars for 45 years and so I am used to the "car salesman" dance but these guys are the worse I have ever seen. There are allot of dealerships and thousands of cars out there, I prefer to spend my money with a dealership I feel good about and can trust. This is not one of those.

Solid performance

by kachok on 10/14/2012

While my salesman was very new, the entire sales staff was very helpful and worked very hard to answer all hundred or so of my OCD questions about my new Mazda 3, everyone from the sales management to the parts counter clerk made me feel right at home.
