I just bought a base mdx in chesapeake, va Priority Acura. It was $36,800 plus dealership fees of $399 plus state tax and registration fees. It totalled $38,446. I mentioned an email quote I got from Springfield, NJ and asked them to match it. They did and we were finished with pricing process in 10min. Wonderful salesperson. Very fast, no hassle. No hassle about accessories or about financing. I will buy all cars in the future from Priority especially priority acura. This edmunds forum helped me a lot. Thanks.
Lease info

I posted this on the MDX leasing forum, but didn't get a response. I'm not sure I'm using the right term, but does AHFC offer balloon note financing? It's like a lease, but the car is in your name and there is no Acq fee. I did this on my current Mazda 6 and couldn't be happier. If they do offer it, do you know the resd and % rates? Also, what are the current lease rates (MF & Res) on the MDX Premium 3 yr lease 10k miles per year? Thanks!

We bought a 2003 RSX from them last October, and they were very, very nice to deal with. Yes, the sales tax is 3.1%. We computed a price by taking the invoice price and added amounts to cover transportation, profit, tax, tag, etc. It came to $20500. We ofered that price, they countered with $21000 and then came down to $20700. That took about 5 minutes. Since they would not accept our offer, we shook hands cordially and got up to leave. As we were walking to our car in the parking lot, the sales manager came out and said they would accept our offer of $20500. We bought the car. The moral to this story? Don't ask them for a price. Determine how much you want to offer and see if they will take it.

To give you guys a lease reference. When I leased my 2003 Acura TL Type S with Nav, the selling price was $31,733. I paid 1st, Security, Acq Fee and Taxes up front. My lease is for $389.90 a month for 42 months. $468 a month for a TSX is nuts.

Try driving in at 7.5k (or 15k, etc) and saying "I just want an oil change, nothing else" It won't be free.
