To say this car is a big disappointment is an understatement. I truly wanted to love this car since I've had my eye on it for years. However, I have had an awful experience with the car and also Volvo Care.
The car died in my driveway within two weeks of having it. Apparently a software glitch. First HUGE red flag. The car has now been in three times and will need to go in for a … fourth. The dealership has been remiss in acknowledging that I have the issues. (I even have video showing the problem - the cross-traffic on the driver's side is inconsistent) The driver's door handle did not work so they "fixed" it. Now it works but only when it's dry. When it's raining, forget it.
The handsfree liftgate doesn't work - again on the left side, and the back left corner sensors do not activate the sound warning. Essentially, the left side of this car is a lemon and neither the dealership nor the national care team seem to want to fix it.
Volvo Care has not lived up to its name and I am now having to bring in a lawyer to deal with the issues.
Read the reviews of users. When they say there are software issues, they mean it! I'm thankful this is only a two year lease. I can't wait to move on from this car.
